Lego car instructions

Post by spect_spidey »

I really like alot of the recent car designs that come with some of the larger sets. The only problem is that I really don't need or want items like the Cargo Train, Service Station, Fire Station, or the latest Creator house. So I was wondering if anyone who has some of these sets might be kind enough to post scans of the instructions for just these smaller vehicles. Then I will know what parts I need & how to build them.

Thanks for looking. :D

Plenty of scans at this site...

Vehicle size tends to dictate the chassis height. Using an older chassis method might not be desirable, though.

The new city and racing lego sets have some great parts for contouring your vehicle, so I'd still suggest getting a few for parts. Don't need uber expensive sets to achieve results either.

It really depends how small you're going.

The Lego Scale Converter might help you figure out a size...

While a bit narrow, this is a very effective and simple design:

I really like this design:

Thanks so much for the helpful links. I really like the way Lego has went with their cars designs in the last couple years. I just wish they would release a few smaller sets so I could stock up. But you are right, I still need to get the Doctor's Car and Police Car. That should give me a good idea of how to approach most of my car building needs.

I wonder if anyone has expanded on the Tiny Turbo Racer designs to make them mini-figure scale? Some of those designs are excellent for body styles and shapes.
