I have looked at some of the things around my house mentioning, "Hey, I could probably get the rest of the Castle 2007 if we just sold this one little thing........"g2 wrote:...you judge the value of “real-life” items, by estimating how many Lego pieces you can buy with the money if you sell that item.
wrap me in a bolt of lightning,
send me on my way still smiling,
maybe that's the way i should go:
straight into the mouth of the unknown....

...when your wife says you are greedy and have too many Lego, you respond by showing her a pic of JPinoy's armies and say "See I'm not greedy at all!"

- when you realize you could have bought a loaded 335xi for what you spent in Lego over the past two years - and not feel any regret about the choice.
There is a C.A.G.E. questionnaire for alcohol addiction (not great, but useful):
C = Have you ever thought you needed to cut down?
A = Have you have been angry/annoyed at someone who suggested you should cut down?
G = Have you ever felt guilty about your consumption?
E = Have you ever had an ‘eye-opener’?
If you can answer yes to any two of these, then you are high risk of being a ‘Lego-holic’. I am sure I can answer yes to all of them

Addendum:
You look forward to every morning in December so you can give your kids hugs and watch them open their Lego Advent calendars - there might be a specialty piece there that one could use

... You have a comprehensive library of set numbers stored in your brain, and if you are confronted with a number you have not seen before, you can usually estimate the set's theme (And sometimes even the set's size) just by the first three numbers.
