Well, the only target within 200 miles definitely does not have the set in stock.

I don't imagine any LEGO retail stores carried the mine and still have it in stock? Any info on this?

I didn't see any Mine sets at the Tigard/Washington Square Mall LEGO store.
And if there was any then, there probably wouldn't be any longer by now?

It should be, it was in a Australia/New Zealand catalog for next year(Battlewheel thread) and a LEGO rep said it would be.

None that I could find at the Arlington VA Tyson's Lego store either, as of a week ago.

Yeah, the Mine set is sold out aroud the Atlanta area as well. I am fairly certain it was a limited release for Christmas. TLC has to keep is salivating for more! I am sure the set will return in stock after the new year.

My Target doesn't have much LEGO left period. All they have is some large Star Wars sets, Duplo and Bionicle. I'm very happy to see LEGO selling so well this season, though I'm sad to see that I probably won't find any castle on sale after Christmas :P

^ My target is also nearly sold out of LEGO... except they have about 40 copies of the smallest Castle set with two soldiers and a skeleton.

I look forward to those being on clearance soon. :)
