Tic-tac-toe?
The castle tic-tac-toe set seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth, how is it that it went so quickly? It didn't say it was limited edition?

Any set which is produced exclusively for Shop at Home and LEGO Stores should be considered a limited edition. With the large variety of Lego sets available these days, it seems that many S@H sets have very small production runs. I would suggest purchasing a copy when these sets first come out so as not to miss them.

i wouldn't be surprised if the Castle Tic-Tac-Toe set returned,as it goes it was extremely popular especially with resellers who bought thousands(yes thousands) so as to stock their stores and such,so this set got sold very very very very fast, but it might return, and hopefully this time with a Qty. limit so as to give others a chance to buy it.

Recently castle game exclusives have returned but in other forms. So I would not be surprised to see another Castle Tic-Tac-Toe with different figures sometime in the future. But I would be surprised to see an exact copy of the first set.Asterios wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if the Castle Tic-Tac-Toe set returned. That's really cool! Anyway, I was hoping to make an army out of them, but now looking back, I'm glad I didn't. (Too many Generals) A Knight/Troll set wiould make my day though. (I'm not to excited about the Dwarves)preterosso wrote:I heard that LEGO shops may still have some, and my mom found a slew of them at the Tyson's store: got me four for Christmas! Black Ranger:
I found that with the full Castle '07 theme it still had room for more knights (as opposed to footsoldiers). I have spare horses, and the guys in the tic-tac-toe are knights rather than "generals". All that's required is your faction be well-resourced to support some more knights. They are still well outnumbered by footmen.
I did only get one tic-tac-toe set mind you!
