Seeing how this seller is a Power Seller, I don't suspect he/she is trying to play a joke on us. What is odd though is how this wasn't leaked out. Anyways, I am very excited about this ever since the topic of battle packs was started. I just hope the orc one will come out shortly as well.

Someone at eurobricks is reporting finding pictures of them in Lego's cache, along with a dwarf keychain. Here's the thread:

I messaged the person selling asking for a set number and either they didn't understand (or properly read) or ducked the question. For me, a set number would be good evidence that this was real.

It definitely looks real but I'm not 100% convinced!

They're definitely real, they're on LEGO's cache:

LEGO must be viewing the classic-castle forum to get tips!
So many people have posted about wanting castle battle packs since I joined cc almost 4 years ago. Now we finally get them!

I will thank LEGO by buying 10 of these!

At first I was a little uncertain, but now I am convinced. Anyone want to put a stab at a price estimate? I have no idea how to compare this set to others since I don't think there were any others like it. I wonder if it will be better to buy a few copies of 5615 instead of these. For one you get an extra helmet, sword, and armor, but on the downside you don't get the flags or the variety of knights. At least I don't have to buy chess sets anymore. Oh how I despise those new skelotons...

Well they look rather nice for battle packs. I am very pleased with most of what I see, but I think I would have prefered to get one classic sword also, and perhaps a brown horse over the grill-helmed knight. Then it would compliement The Knight impulse pack better.

The skeleton set still has the evil bishop from the chess set (cloaked skeleton), but the Knight battle pack does not contain the good bishop. IMHO armor is better in this case considering the Star Wars line will always provide brown hood and cloak elements and a helm is *always* more useful.

Pricepoint and availablity on Shop @ Home would be much appreciated! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these sets are between $12 and $15, and if less than that I'll pass out right on my keyboard.

Okay then LEGO, now sell 'em online, follow up with a Dwarf Battle Pack, then a Troll Battle Pack and hit us with a Peasant and Forest Outlaw Battle Pack (Pitchforks and bow & arrows) and we're all poor FOREVER.

12-15 dollars... yikes. I remember when the boxed 4-6 men from castle were 5 dollars or so. I hope they are less than 10. If not the smaller sets still carry about the same number of men with parts for less value.

Either the dollar has dropped more than I thought or I am getting old. Reminds me when my Grandpa tells me he bought a gallon of gas for a few cents...
