I bought these as well as saw a new set that I have never seen before when I went to Legoland today heres the deep link:
Cool, I saw the receipt in your pic.
The battle packs are $9.99, not too bad for 5 figs and 4 shields!

Escape The Fate, two questions:
1. What head does the knight with the metallic sword have?
2. Is the knight on the top-left's weapon light-bley?

Oh Gods, do I want these!

Just for the record: My 40th birthday is in less than two weeks. Help me fight off my midlife crisis! (hint! hint!)

I love the fact that Lego is doing this. A dwarf and an orc (troll) pack would be welcome additions as well. Perhaps if these sell well, (which by all indications they will) we may see future battle packs for different factions without Lego having to come up with sets involving them. What better way to gauge interest than to release a faction in this form first to see if it's worth continuing. It would have saved alot of head aches with the jelly beans. I personally would like to see orcs (trolls) introduced in different colors like dark tan or dark bley without having sets dedicated to more of the same in a different color.

Luke,

DR. J mentioned they are in the Shop at home cache so they seemingly will be offered there.

Escape the Fate,

I think if you are in whatever photo editing program you have if you search help for resizing and web resizing it will tell yuo the steps but that is the feature you are lookign for.

I cannot wait till S@H sells these. The Dwarf and Orc ones are cool but these are pretty neat as well. 5 guys for 10 dollars is actually pretty good.

 ... I left for a few days, and I come back to this and the chess set... Any Southern Illinoisians, I suggest you evacuate the area... It's about to be flooded with drool  .

Are the torso's under the armor plain, or marked up? If they're plain I'm kinda disappointed; you really are only getting three crown knight figures, two plain torsos, and two EURO armors...

TLC..... please read......

Make these available and I'll definitely do my part to make it worth your while.

I've got some cash that wants, no, needs to be spent! This is the perfect way to do so.

And thanks for the shields. We have missed them.

Hello!

I'd bet an arm and a leg (black minifig arm and leg, of course) that those torsos are plain. That's Lego’s attempt to save on costs. And, in some way, they are indeed going back to the roots with those unprinted torsos: The minifigs in the very first Castle 375 (from 1978) are unprinted, too.

Whenever I read this peculiar term ”Euro armour“ I think of the currency we have in Europe...
€-armour. Yeah.

I like them non-printed. 9.99$? Nice price. Might pick up some.
Why do we call it Euro armour? I prefer plate armour.

I always thought it was to distinguish it from the Ninja armor.

Anyway, battle packs? Cool. Hope to see dwarf and orc ones in the future, or maybe a multi-faction one - a crown knight, a dwarf, an orc, and two skellies . . . 8)

These are excellent. Don't know if I'll get any (I'm focusing my cash on other armies and pieces), but I may pick one up just to see how it looks.
