So............there's a $3 difference between LEGOLAND and S@H for these? Isn't that big a discrepancy unusual? I was hoping for $9.99 as well, given the GBP and Euro prices, and the non-licence factor: SW battlepacks are $9.99 for four figures and some not-to-shabby mini-ships. Still, $2.60 per armed and armored minifig isn't too terribly expensive.

This IS the USA web address for United States online shoppers. It seems some of you are confusticated on this. THEY ARE AVAILABLE ON S@H NOW!Count Blacktron wrote:Just purchased 7 Knights Battlepacks and 3 Skeletons Battlepacks (plus another 8 of The Knight) on LEGO.Com S@H. I could paste a link, you know, theme and all, but why make it so easy?![]()
They're $12.99 each, which is good for five minifigures I think, as the magnet pack was only three figs at that rate.
They may not last!
Perhaps LEGO will do a Horse pack soon? Troll and Dwarf Battlepacks???
For those of you who got this far down...
Here's the S@H link to the Knight's Battlepack:

Yeah I was excited about the battlepacks but wasn't expecting them at $13 - plus shipping they run about $15+ per.
That makes the chess set at $40 much more attractive... but I really hate the skeletons, haha.
Maybe I'll just wait until I move to California in June and go pick them up at Legoland myself. Hope they don't run out by then.

I can't deny that the chess set is a GREAT value, but it has no kettle helmets or knight helmets.
(And Lego, I'm still waiting for the metallic archer helmets. Wink Wink.)
It's a shame the battle packs are more expensive online, but it sure beats me traveling out of state to pick these up. And I can't bricklink these for cheaper.

The Canadian price is ridiculous. Well, these will be incredibly easy to pass on. We're paying more than pretty much anyone in Europe and the US, and unlike European buyers, we have to pay tax on top as Canadians don't have VAT. I mean, the Australian price is $16.99, yet the Australian dollar is worth less and from what I understand, Australia actually has VAT as well. These guys will cost me almost $20!
I'll definitely pass. LEGO has no love of Canada.

Legoredux wrote:GAH! 12.99 for the US and we pay 40% more when our currency is even higher than theirs!! I bet they justify this robbery withXui wrote:S@H lists them as $17.99 for Canadians. We really get shafted with our good dollar these days.
"it costs more to ship to Canada"
17.99 CAD = 19.3580 AUD
Canada Dollars Australia Dollars
17.99 CAD = 17.7836 USD
Canada Dollars United States Dollars
I agree totally Blueandwhite my instant thought when reading Legoredux was that
Seriously if I was in Canada I would e-mail LEGO and enquire if this is a mistake. The Canadian price is ridiculous
It might be cheaper for Canadians to wait and go through bricklink stores from USA

It is because they link it to how the canadian currency is against theirs in Denmark. Right now .20 Canadian cents equals one Dansih Kroner and 19 Us cents equals on kroner so the US dollar still is more value per cent to the kroner. It has no direct relation to the US dollar how the C Dollar is to the kroner. As it has no relation to our pound here in GB. Look up on xe.com to see how your currency is going verse the danish currency, they have a chart setting that allows you to see the trends for the last months, perhaps years even. It does seem high to me but if it has remained the same against their money you can see the root of the problem. I have never seen the canadain dollar so high, I have not had family living up there for some years though. I wonder what prices are like in Mexico right now in the past they were pretty good. When I lived in Chile legos were priced pretty well I though though I never bought any.

I am just glad to hear that Wal-Mart Canada is going to be selling legos again!

Does anyone know of these sets can only be purchased by S@H or that they will also be in the shop in April toghether with the other new releases? Since they are not an S@H Exclusive or Hard to find item, I guess it will be in stores over 1 or 2 month's.
It even looks that they have a small hole in the plastic, so it can be hung on the shelves.
