Got a question... What is your most treasured Lego [(you)]Castle[/(you)] set (including subthemes such as Vikings but not Harry Potter)?

Mine, I have a MISB 6086 Black Knight's Castle.
So then I guess the Time Cruisers count?
Absolutely, for all those lucky folks who managed to get that prized minifig, Timmy
Prized minifig? Pictures please :O

mine would have to be 4071(right?) forestmen's crossing. :O

I think it is a tie for me.

6073 Knight's Castle and 6086 Black Knight's Castle

The 6073 was my first lego set ever, but the 6086 was the set that I have wanted and wanted since coming back into the fold. I finally got it over the Christmas break and it was worth it!

My most prized set would the Forestmen's "Camoflaged Outpost" (did I spell that right?). Although, my most favorite theme was the Wolfpack (yeah baby!!)

Black Monarch's Castle, by far! I didn't have any castle as a kid, mostly space. But my wife got this set in 1988. When we started living together in 1993, it was out on display. I wish I had pics of our pet iguana climbing over it

Unfortunately it was heavily modified, since the instructions were long gone and it was destroyed and rebuilt many times. Eventually it was relegated to a box in the closet. However, with my recent LEGO revival, I discovered the instructions online and rebuilt it as close to the original as I could.

The re-release of Black Falcon's Fortress in 03 is the jewel of my LEGO collection.

I wouldn't call it a jewel, but one of my favorite castle sets is that I own is the Sea Serpent...lots of figs, a plausable design and a real fabric sail too!!!

That is a jewel indeed :) My jewel is also 6086 but not MISB, still in very good shape though.
This is the one castle I always wanted as a kid but never got, that's why it has a certain emotional/nostalgic value to me. I was 8 when it came out and didn't get it until I was 22.

I managed to buy a lot of the older castle sets for $75, so technically that is the jewel of my collection.

I'm VERY new to the castle scene. In fact, I only got into it as a kid when I came across my first (and pretty much only, for now) castle set: 6026 (King Leo). It had my first sword (chrome, too :P ), my first crown (also chrome  ), and John of Mayne, meaning my only (I have no idea what to call it...) man-at-arms wide-brimmed helmet. Oh, and the crummy castle wall piece too, but no one counts that. Right?
I build, therefore I am. If I build nothing, AM I nothing?

My crown jewel would be the Kings Mountain Fortress. That's my oldest and most awesome set ever!

My crown jewel is a customized '07 castle. I removed the floating tower, attached the Dwarf Mine, and built a customized great hall.

My favourite set is probably the 6073 but it's really hard to say. I have to say I really like the 8874 and the 7020 because those kits are really well designed. I'm a sucker for the shadow knights and who can resist all those vikings and that awesome, if improbable, catapult? Sadly I don't own any of the recent "castles" except the HP castle (which is pretty good in its own right).
