Hi, I'm new here.
Hello, i found this page a couple of days ago and was just amazed. Had to join.
I have been a lego fan all my life. However, i did one cardinal mistake in my teens, i gave my LEGO away to my brothers children. It was a good deed, but I miss the castle (black knights castle).
However. Now i am "older" and have kids of my own.
so now i can spend money on LEGO, .
I recently bought a 10kg bag of LEGO for 301€. I think it contains atleast three castles. And other stuff.
So now i am happy again.
See you guys around.

Hey, welcome to Classic Castle. Glad you could get some pieces. Do you know which castles you may have received?
Glad to have you with us.

Hey welcome to here. Having kids of your own always gives you a good excuse towards your partner, to buy more Lego
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

Thank you.
It's nice to be here.
there is at least 6090
(there is the base plate for that, and the lion soliders etc)
but most of the castle pieces are grey, and there are about the same amount of falcon minifigs as the for the 6090. There are some older lion minifigs and a few really old minifigs (one with a templar shield and another similar with a crown on it). Oh and a few have got axes on their breast. and some woodsmen as well. It is hard to tell what the sets might be.
(there is also random space, city, techic, amazon lego and a lot of standard red/blue/white/yellow bricks)
(oh, and i started a pact with my brother in law, also an AFOL, that we will only buy castle lego to each other from now on for birthdays etc.) He recently got me a to start build up a future army

Welcome back from your dark-ages, and glad to have you on board.

Regarding the parts
Hi, in order to get an overview of the parts i got, i built a castle using the grey parts.
Details can be found from http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=314364. I put togeter this picture, with the castle related part and minifigs i got. If someone using these "clues" could figure out what sets i might have it would be appreciated.
I am quite positive i have the 6090, and i did not use those black walls for this castle. Anyway, it looks like the grey parts are from more than one castle. But what they are i do not know.

Welcome to CC! Looks like you got some good stuff there. Is this all of it? I'm curious because I see one figure from the Yellow Castle in there.

Welcome to CC Melonkernal!
Ah, hearing yet another FOL's story of stepping out of their Dark Ages is like music to my ears. Of course, hearing of the mistake you made in your teens isn't so nice, but oh well- A very good deed it was!
Looks to be a nice stash you purchased.. Being in the states I'm not sure what the translation of Euros to USDs would be, but I can make a good guess; and from that, it seems quite a nice deal, there are some cool things in there!
Looking forward to checking out your future MOCs, that little castle you put together is nice.
See you around the forums!

The yellow
Hmm, those are all the castle minifigs. I haven't checked the bucked with the yellow parts for castle ish parts. But since there is only one minifig with the crown, and one with the templar cross, they might be from some smaller set, or then lots of parts have been lost during time (kids playing with them outside, vacuum cleaners etc.).
Anyway, Thanks for the warm welcome, I'm glad I found this site.

Re: The yellow
I'm afraid its the second choice, as those figs only came in the yellow castle. You might not notice the yellow parts, as they were mostly basic bricks and slopes. But even if lots of parts are missing, you got a great haul. As you've already shown, you have excellent parts for building. Not many people have used that baseplate for anything. Good job!melonkernel wrote:But since there is only one minifig with the crown, and one with the templar cross, they might be from some smaller set, or then lots of parts have been lost during time (kids playing with them outside, vacuum cleaners etc.).

The other castle sets i had, which i gave away was 6034, 6086, 6075 and 6038. I remember my mom hid my lego away so i wouldn't give it away when i had stopped playing with them (she knew i would regret it). But then i found where she had hid it and gave the whole lego box as a christmas present for my older brothers children. There might be a chance that, when their youngest brother gets out of lego playing age (hmmm. is that possible) that i could ask for those specific sets. But then again a gift is a gift, and nothing you can reclaim.
