Mine is the Lion Knights, I have lots of black knights, but their not like set by LEGO, I designed them but my lion army isn't bigger (because) my black army is made up of several different evil knights.

See my lion army here --->:D

I have 40 Shadow Knights, 15+ Crownies, 50+ other themes.. all geared up with shields etc..

I'm not counting the scared Crownie from 7041, he is a shame for my army. He'll rot in the dungeons

Cagri,

Does the crownie from 7041 not have the dual faces? Thats a shame if not.

I have not ever looked at 7041 yet yet so I have no idea.

It does have two faces, but once a coward always a coward. I took his helmet and ziplocked with my skeletons. That's what he deserves :)

My biggest faction is Crown Knights. I have 8 (wow so impressive! 'sarcasm'). 2nd is Shadow Knights/KK2 color-wonder knights (lol). Last is Skeletons at 6. My favorite faction (out of what I have) is Crown Knights and Shadow Knights. Skeletons are ok.... I guess. KK2 Knights are blah. I hope to make my tiny factions bigger (except KK2 color-wonder knights).

34 crownies (too much? maybe)
40+ vikings
20 skeletons

I'd like to reduce my numbers down to about 20-ish maybe per faction, it's overwhelming and hard play with x_x

My current biggest faction is:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=262937
I have increased the size to 2,000; however, I don't have any new pics as I am currently packing to move to a new town. I am currently in negotiations to add a 1,000 semi-custom figs to this army, but we will see how that pans out.

The next would be my hyper-corp genre:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=257385
This army is now well over 1,000 (which is again packed). Any new picks of this army will have to wait until NWBrickCon this fall. I have been talking to Will in order to arm them.

And heck - I am not even in the running (yet) for having the largest collection, but maybe for one of the larger factions.

Just out of curiosity, why does one need that many minifigures? I mean, I understand a hundred or so for an army, you could make a scene with them. But thousands?? I think it's a little excessive. What is the logic behind collecting that much? I don't get it.

My largest faction is probably my custom Sorasan army, with 8 spearmen, 10 swordsmen, 8 archers, 2 axemen, 1 captain, and about 10 mounted knights loyal to the king.
Next is probably the Black Monarchs with about 12.
