I would've liked the Orcs, but they don't have a base.
I would've liked the Crownies, but their lack of variety was a factor.
I would've liked the Skellies, but their weapons are cheap.
Soooooo.... I like the Dwarfs!
Question: Why do we drive in PARKways and park in DRIVEways?
I picked Orcs(Trolls) as I have been waiting twenty years for them. I would like to see the elves before making a final vote, however. I guess the more that I think about it I like them all equally; they're all cool.

Personally, I couldnt care less if Lego released any Elf sets. I would prefer another human faction. If they do end up doing Elves, then hopefully things will be generic enough that they can be used for civilians, or a Forrestmen equivalent, or if they are armored then another human faction by swapping out heads. It would be nice if they used the left over Viking torso prints to make a barbarian faction, but that is unrelated.
I did notice a couple of Bricklink sellers in Germany with bows and quivers available in the newer dark brown. Those have never been released in a set in that color before, so I'd say that's a good sign.

I believe those are from the Giant Chess Set.
The first listing's item description says it's old, and the Bricklink catalog doesn't list a dark brown bow and arrow in any set or gear. Either the seller mislabeled the listings or they are custom made.

I hadn't noticed that the first one was listed as old, so that one, at least, appears to be mislabeled regarding color. It would seem that the chess set has not been inventoried on Bricklink or Peeron, so it's hard to say. But if bows have actually been produced in dark brown, as Dano seems to think, that's still a hopeful sign. If LEGO is producing them in a new color rather than just throwing in the reddish brown ones used in 7094 and the advent calendar, that it could be an indicator of things to come.
