I do not own it but I will be getting at least one. The siege tower is just too cool to pass up. Not sure about the crownie tower but I know I can do something with it.
well ELMAS I actually wanted to get the troll warship. it seems worth my money but then again i could get smaller sets like the tower raid and battle packs?
1. work!
2. work harder!
3. When all else fails.....BUILD LEGOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we fly to victory!' said the dragon king.

I agree, I like the tower dont get me wrong, we can replace the weels.
Get a bunch of these things and add them to that one skeleton ship set,
and put it in front of the kings castle.
I just spent a couple hours examining and playing with this set. This is my first orc set.
Regarding the price of the set,, I don't think it's really fair, since I bought it here in Romania where prices are usually twice as much than in the US.
As far as the parts go, it's a great set for someone like me, who has a very limited collection of castle sets, this is in fact my first large castle set. The new color, the dark brown, looks really good in combination with the regular brown, making the orc buildings and vehicles look very rugged and barbaric. I can also see these parts being put to good use as trees.
For someone who is just starting to get into castle, it's the perfect set, it has the three orc minifigs, as well as the two crownies, one of which has the double printed scared/yelling face, which is indispensable in any large castle scene. The tower has the regular crownie architecture, blay walls with dk blay in some places for variation, dark blue roof, the two flags, one of which is reversed (the blue one).
This set provided me with some great first parts, I never had chains before, orcs, dark brown slopes. The orcish standard and shield look great, so does the armor that the orc leader wears.
There's tons of playability. It's good to see TLC incorporating some interesting techniques, like the one to deploy the ramp from the attacking tower. Although I doubt the orcs would bother saving one of their comrades, since orcs have known to be ruthless and not care about their own... but it's still fun to crack open that tower with only one shot if the rubber-band propelled battering ram.
In conclusion, this set has a nice variety of everything you need to build castle. I can only imagine countless possibilities for alternate models only from this one set... like an orc base/palisades , bridge, or other siege machines. I'm glad i bought it, now I need to be convinced to buy the Dwarfs mine ..since I also bought the mine defender. Another set that has a nice collection of minifigs.

Just to clarify, this appears to be happening at random. My Tower Raid has blue and gold normal flags, but two of the four blue flags in my King's Castle Siege are reversed.
Yeah I think the flag issue is random as well. I have both a Troll artillery wagon and the Raid that have reversed flags in them. Others of the same sets do not? Strange. Looks OK so I am not too worried.
Well I finally got my hands on this set, I already have a battering ram from the Bionicle sets but this one just seems better.
I got it completed and realized I was missing a few pieces. Notably an Orc sword... as well as a few of the 1 square blocks. I did get a massive number of extra pieces though. like the small black dots, etc.
