I can see myself buying many of this set along with the orc cart if and when they are released.

At the moment, I have more Crownies than I do orcs or skeletons by a little bit - does anyone else feel that the Crownies should be excellent well armed fighters and fight hordes of orcs and skeletons who fight with sheer numbers?

I need more skeletons and orcs!
P.S. If you need help making MOCs, making posts, or don't know what to do next, please, let me know! I'm here to help! ;)

I concurr. I mean orc and undead armies are best in hords! They really arent scary otherwise. It is also a lot more fun to fight as the heroic few, since you really dont have to be heroic if you arent outnumbered!

I'm getting like 20 chariots when they come out!

i drink to that! :D

i find dwarf defender set quiet usefull for building my orc hord. 2 orcs , bunch of usefull bricks and it cost almost the same as 2 smallest sets.

Agreed! Although people building dwarf armies may find it's not the best price per dwarf, it's amazing for building an orc horde with lots of nice accessories!

There's still 5373 to be released too- presumably it'll be released at the same time as the chariot? It's the catapult set i'm wanting multiples of! :D

I have contacted the LEGO Community team requesting more information about these two sets and if 5614 The Good Wizard will be released in North America. When I receive more information, I will post it here.

I second that!

Having a cheap source of skeletal horses will be great.

Thanks Ben!

I do not know if everyone knows so I will post it anyways. The instructions for both the knight's catapult and the skellie chariot are on TLC website under Customer service and instructions. They are swell sets.

I might use PaB and buy a ton of skellies when I have the time and money. I will buy a few more mine defenders as well for dwarves and trolls/orcs. Since I do not need a horde of dwarves (they are not a very quickly growing population) it works good for me ratio-wise.

I went and ordered three of The Good Wizard from a Bricklinker in Germany simply because my collection feels so incomplete without it. Seriously can not wait for this line to get moving here in the USA a little better. :P

Yesh, the Skeleton Chariot would be a useful set. But, it would have to be released soon, because I think that the Skellies and Crownies will be replaced by late 2009. If LEGO wants them to continue further, they will need new Crownie and Skelly sets.
Question: Why do we drive in PARKways and park in DRIVEways?

They have a new skellie set this year and the crownies are the second most common group of the year for 2008. Why do you think they are going away 2009 then? As far as I can tell the crownies have been the most numerous group from the new castle series.

HBF - an Elven faction maybe, given the details on 'that map' circulating on another CC post.

I don't want a huge quantity of bad guys so much as a huge variety; no one group of monsters is very powerful in itself, but there are enough groups to make necessary a large defensive force. This idea goes well with having two different types of skeleton.
