Keep, first castle moc

Post by Sorian Gwener »

This is my first lego castle moc, i have not so many bricks, but i've try creating this little moc.
Originally were two different moc, the backgate should be the city walls gate, after one month, spending my time building i've created the external walls; putting away the two mocs, for space problems, i've noticed the good view of the two mocs together so i've decided to make one from two and here it is.
This moc ihas been the location for my first lego story.(viewtopic.php?t=14317)
(sorry for my not perfect english :P).

It looks pretty good. I know how frustrating it can be trying to build with few bricks. Just keep practicing building and you will learn how to adapt to building with only a few bricks.

That looks good for a first MOC. It could stand with some decoration, inside and out, but it's a definite good start. Oh, and get some doors under that corner archway if you can.

And don't worry about your English. You speak better English than some native speakers I know.

Thank you for suggestions.
Well, surely i will improve the exterior walls, whit some new bricks i'm gonna buy on bricklink :P.
For the corner archway, has been created whitout any doors, is like an entering gate, but the real keep is the black building, which is doors dotated :P.

My real problem whit the bricks is not the quantity, is the kind, in fact, since i was child until i was 15(now i'm 20), age when i left lego, i've bought and recieved city themed brick, mostly, now i've a big brick crate, whit a lot of bricks, but not all of them are good to use in the castle building.

I will spend some money trying to get some good quantity of bricks at bricklink, after summer period.
