Community Window - Baybrook, July 08

Post by Jim »

Howdy!

I haven't posted in a while, as I have been taking a break from serious building and focusing on work (new contracts, new employees, etc). I hope to get more time this year for building.

With the advent of the Lego store in Houston, I put together this MOC for the Community Window. It is a simple scene of a knight and some of his men about to cross a bridge over a river canyon. This display will be in the store for about 4 weeks.

I hope you like it.

Very nice. No critique here, just love the idea of a community window.

It looks very good. The cliffs, the plant life, especially the nice design on the mushroom, river and other surrounds look nice. The tower and bridge are nice as well. They look like a great outpost for the crown knights.

Hope things go well for you work wise. Always helps.

Nice creation. This must have just gone up at the store. I was there 2 weeks ago and don't remember seeing this.

Nice job. I especially like the use of the different bricks in the buildings.

The texture on the tower and the SNOT bridge look very nice. I really need more dark orange, It looks great for a road.

Nice, while its not too detailed, its pretty large, and has some nice features. But please, drop the crownies, and bring back the old factions.

Howdy -

Thanks for all the nice comments. It went up at the store on July 12th, and will be there for a few more weeks.

I used the Crownies, because that is the current faction, and I wanted to support the local store. :D
