If your board of making castles, then just simply move onto another theme. I like Space, Post Apoc, and many other themes, but I also love castle. Right now, I am sort of board of castle, but I still love making it when I get good ideas.

Move on for a little while, then try coming back at it again. It really does make a difference. Mr. Sava, when he is board of castle, likes to build in the realm of trains. he is quite good at it too.

Really, tell your mother she needs to go sell her own junk, not your junk.

I've never understood the point of these "what should I build" threads. Build what you want. If you've become bored or disinterested in castle LEGO, move on to something else. You don't need somebody to tell you what to do.

How about making an underground base w/tunnels with hidden trap doors throughout a forest to pop up on unsuspecting victims and take them to your torture chamber and make them suffer just for fun

I'm going to ask you some questions about Lego Castle.

First off, what's your favorite faction?

Second, how many pieces do you have?

Thirdly, what's your favorite time in the Middle Ages or do you like fantasy better? (Eg. 1000-1100)

Fourthly, do you like villages, or towns better?

So what I would do is, circle a village, or town around the faction that you like. The way you do that is put soldiers or banners of that faction around the village or town. Try to make it peaceful since you don't want to have fighting as you said you're bored of battle.

Whatever you do, don't worry. Worrying makes you nervous and destroys your ability to build.

It might seem boring, but I built a nice size farm with four orfive people, a dog, sheep, pigs, horses and cows (all from Brickforge save the horses). It also has a small blacksmith shed, a small garden and numerous trypes of trees around it. My next addition is to make it bigger with more crops and make a small road and bridge over a creek. So, farms can be treey cool and you can do a lot with them. Other than that I like the idea of a monastery, could be an orc monastery, ya never know.

I haven't surfed extensively through past threads, but has anyone done any Shakespeare scenes? I was thinking today I might try something from MacBeth once I get my hands on some nifty newer figs. Best Shakespeare scene might be a fun contest. There's lots of medieval stuff from Titus Andronicus, Hamlet, MacBeth, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, King Lear, Othello, etc.

Go dark. I mean really dark.

Make a dungeon filled with torture devices, or an evil wizard laboratory with lots of "failed experiments" in cages. Take advantage of the new facial expressions to heighten the drama.

'Course, such hellish dioramas might persuade mom to trot the Lego off anyway to save your soul, but what a way to go!
