"My order arrived last week. I'm thrilled. they look and feel so good. I really like the long cape/ shoulder cape combination. I'm definitally gonna have to get more. thanks."

Glad you liked everything. Thanks again for a great order!

"I was able to print a few of my own on some printable fabric
....they came out ok, but I guess practice makes perfect."

Yeah, everything sure does take practice. From my first attempts to now, I've improved alot. The first capes I made always had ink that would bleed, poorly cut neck holes made by scissors, etc.

Since that point, I've gotten some proper tools and punches, and have improved my techniques for treating the fabric, producing higher quality capes.
Even now I am still looking for ways to make them better. There is always something new to learn.

"I don't know how I missed this! Fantastic work as always Amanda, I'll be sure to place an order when I get some funds together"

Thanks. I'll be sure to stick in some extras when you do. :)

Please make some more dwarven capes, those are "top self" items. They can even make a purist like me want more. The quality is exceptional.

Request heard!

I've got a large custom order that's been kickin' around for about two months, that is finally wrapping up. Once I get all of the 123 capes treated and cut out (Going to be a task...) near the middle or end of this week, I'll make up some more of the dwarf capes.

Glad you like the design! :)

Alrighty,

I found me some time to create a couple of new items. Since I got a request to do up some more Dwarf capes to sell, I printed/cut 20 more of them over the weekend:

-Dwarven Short Cape-

I also came up with a second design for the short Dwarf capes, a Dwarven Helm shoulder cape, and a Dwarf straight flag:

-Dwarven Shoulder Cape-
-Dwarven Straight Flag-
-Crossed Axe Short Cape-

Dwarf Items aside, I made a couple others as well:

-Black Shoulder Cape-
-Fancy Bulls Flag, Tapered-
-Fancy Dark Forest Flag, Tapered-
-Fancy Knights Tournament Flag, Tapered-
-"Evil Eye" Flag, Tattered-
-Crownie Straight Flag-

There you have it!

Sure thing.
I have to print off 6 capes somebody ordered from me (Which I printed the wrong version of the first time) anyways.
I'll be sure to make some more of the Crownie pauldrons while I'm at it. :)

Thanks for the question!

Howdy,

I've been re-stocking some of my Custom Fabric inventory in shop (Spent yesterday cutting over 100 items), and finally finished making some more of the Crownie shoulder capes, Jelmer. :)

Also, I tried out a couple new items as well that I thought I would share with you guys:

Short Dwarven Helm Cape
Ok.. So not really a new design, right? The only change I made on this is I made the border that goldish yellow color like on the helm. I think I like this look better than the black border, but I'd love to hear your input on the change.

Demon's Eye Cape
This is one of my original designs. I had (/have.. Might have a couple in shop still) these as flags in my store, but not as capes. I did sell a couple sets of them on eBay a ways back, though.

Knights Tournament Cape

White Wolf Cape
I love this design. That KK2 Wolf looks completely awesome in white, as a sort of revised Wolfpack Cape.

Green Dragon Cape

Knights Procession Cape, Long

Black Cross Cape & Shoulder Capes
A simple design. But cool.

Verticle Orc Flag

The store (Bricks & Customs) link is in my signature, in case you want to check out the rest of everything. And remember the magic words: "Classic-Castle Sale". Mention them in the comments section when ordering and I'll cut you a little 5% discount. :)

Thanks!

Lamanda, keep up the great work!!! The cape designs along with the flags are incredible. The forestmen capes look perfect, but the gray forestmen flag is over the top. The color scheme on that, man if we had torsos to match...

If you could make some different dwarven faction capes; example- a hammer and anvil clan, goblet and spear, small little castle tower(like a chess "rook"), or whatever you may decide.

Another order placed. 8)

I think it would be really cool to see a long cape and shoulder cape combo for the Crown Knights. I would definitely buy a few.

The black and white cross pattern would also look great as a long cape.

EDIT:

If I made my own design and put it on your long cape template, would you be able to print them off on fabric? I would pay just as much as any normal design.

EDIT AGAIN: (Oops!)

With my last edit I assumed that you had a template for these capes on brickshelf, but I was looking around and can't find one. By any chance do you have a template to release?

Heheheh.. Thanks.

Hey, thanks for the praise on these. I really appreciate your input. :)

I'll definetely look into making some more dwarf cape designs. I was trying to think up some ideas for it the other day but drew a blank, so I'm happy to see these great suggestions!

"Another order placed."

Thank you kind Sir. 8)

"If I made my own design and put it on your long cape template, would you be able to print them off on fabric? I would pay just as much as any normal design."

I'll send you a PM on this. It's totally do-able. I've done custom requests before, but everyone always asks me to draw the design, so it'll be cool to see what you can come up with. :)

As for the other requests - I'll keep them in mind when I print off some more items.

"Do you take custom requests?"

Sure. Just send me a PM about it if you like. That way we won't clutter the tpic up and whatnot.

Thanks again guys!

I hope you don't mind my borrowing the long cape and shoulders design, I got some ideas...

Oh, one question about the shoulders. How do they go on? I was trying to guess by the pictures in your store, but I couldn't figure it out...

Shoulders are just a re-use of the official orange cloth pauldron that LEGO used on one of the stormtroopers (the "sandtrooper") in the Mos Eisley Cantina set. (Clicky: 4501)

Basically, it's like a really small version of the normal, two-holed capes, such as the Jedi and Crownie King wears: the two holes are folded over each other. In this particular case, the shoulder cape would then be worn to the side, over a shoulder (presumably in conjunction with another on the other shoulder... but maybe I shouldn't presume).
