Wow, that looks superb for a first MOC! You sure included a lot of detail. I know it's better than any castle I've made to date, so I have little advice to give in that regard. One thing I would do though is to make a detailed interior. It always makes a MOC more interesting. Hope that helps. :)

God bless.

I love the opening of the front gate in particular, though I would have loved to also see two other things:

1) The interior of the gate looking just as interesting.

and

2) Some way to open the castle to get a sense of the layout of the interior courtyard. This is tough to do when you have a limited piece selection, but there should at least be some sort of usage of the interior space if you want it to be populated by the minifigs like it was. I did like the main tower with the king in it. I don't have one of those guys yet so at the moment I'm limited to Knights/guard captains as the authority figures. I do have a queen but by herself...

That's very interesting, I like the height of that tower in the front, and you're use of those big turret pieces was very skillful. And your wife's creation made me LOL!!!

Don't be nervous, really! The more you show, the more tips you will get.

I enjoyed seeing you use quite unused pieces, like the giant axes and helmet. I like the arch use too. When you get some more pieces, I suggest landscaping. it really improves MOCs.

Nice work. I can see you put effort into this moc. You got some nice details in there. Also good work on the consistant color scheme. I remember my first castle wasnt that consistant ...

Indeed landscaping would def. boost your mocs. I would also advice you to add that in you next moc.

Anyway i really like it, keep it up!

Wow! This is really great especially considering it's a first MOC. I really like how you incorporated quite a few seldomly used pieces into the build. Great job!

I like your use of the wall panels. They make it look very ordered and crisp. The curved walls towards the top were very nice too.
