Capital City - WIP

Post by castlestrike666 »

Hi all!
I'm working on a new MOC. This is a city of my fantasy world I've created a while ago:
viewtopic.php?t=14201

Here you'll find some first pics of the surrounding nature:

And these are the current inhabitants (CLICK on the picture to see the description beneath each photo!):

Of course there has to be built a lot!

Maybe some first comments?

Greetings

Nice job! The water looks good. I can't wait to see what the final version looks like!

Looks like its coming along nicely. The inhabitants are nice, a good amount of variation so they are not all clones and some good thought into their stories. The city looks like its shaping up nicely as well! Nice job!

And another wall is under construction  What you see now, is about 1/3 of the final version...

The green baseplate between the paved hallway and the small cave in the bottom right corner is already replaced with a gray one!

The piece I'm working on now is going to be the armory and the barracks for my soldiers. The first floor (with black and dark bl. gray plates) is going to be the royal bedroom (king, queen & princess) and in front of it (on the right) will be the dining room and the room where the king meets the people.

What else is coming?

- Blacksmith
- Courtyard
- Entrance
- Towers
- Toilet
- Well
- Stables
- Wizards' Tower
- Treasure Room

Meaning of this all?!

The thought is to build in modules. Normally you're going to be able to see each and every room seperatly, just by opening the castle

I'm also going to try to put real lights in there, and a couple of moving things..

Greetings
Kenny

PS Sorry for the long posts.. I just want to keep you in touch with the progress.. If you'd prefer not to be, just let it know

Wow man, that is terrific! I like that you're not intimidated by the scope of something like this. Keep up the good work!

I've finished most of the Royal Bedroom. The bed the king's laying on has to be rebuild..
Tiles aren't fixed too due to some changes in the floor now and then :)

Also furniture is added!
