Knight's Cottage with well and wife (LDD series Part 1)

Post by Gomur »

My first LDD creation. I tried to make it a peaceful one since the only pieces you can get in LDD are armor and a crossbow (not very synchronous).

Looks great! Do you have a picture of the inside? I guess my only criticism is the price, $60 seems high. Nice Work.

Edit: Is this available for sale on S@H? I looked but couldn't find it.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I actually didn't put hinges on it or furnish the interior. I couldn't find the right bricks to do it with. In any case, it's Base8 compatible and the interior is 12x12 on the stone ground floor and 14x14 on the second and third levels. A lip exists around the part where the first level gives way to the second where you could easily seat a plate or two and decorate it however you wish. All you'd need to bivalve it into an open-able piece would be some black 1x2 hinges, which aren't in the pallette.

Also, it is on S@H, though it's still pending approval. It's called "Knight's Cottage."

All right, the redesign of the Knight's Cottage is done and uploaded. All I did was use better brick economy, and make the base size 14 studs instead of 16, and I managed to drop the price by $11. The new model is virtually identical. Minor changes include a better looking door, removal of the door-side torch holder, and the addition of a cup for the well. Everything else is as close as I could make it to the first one.

Now it's 424 pieces and $48.52.
