Major props to Ben. Thanks!
I think they knew what was going on with all the high call volume asking for the same thing.

What I'm more curious about, is did anyone call the referral 900 number from the original (incorrect) number? Was it for Lego dirty phone talk...
I called the first number and it seemed like it was a directory assistance line? It then sent a text to my phone. I'm not so sure what it was all about. Some scam possibly. I didn't ever get a 900 number...

In the meantime I called the correct number and I ordered my two calenders and yes the operator was very friendly. Better than phone sex any day of the week. Phone ordering exclusive lego product... oooh yeah.... Unfortunately the climax won't come for a week or so... :o

She did ask for the code but only after I mentioned that there was a code. She almost seemed curious as to what the code word was?

Anyhow, I got two. So now to meet the smallest of my goals, I'll need another four. Or six. I'd really like another shot at these or at the very least more of the characters and elements in them. Perhaps in the future this will signal to LEGO that more variety in Castle situations and characters is called for.

Huzzah for expanding the Kingdom!

Huzzah for Castle Village!!

Indeed, I did!

A hale & hearty thank you to Ben and anyone else at Classic-Castle for making this happen! Ben, any time in the future that you happen to be in the SF Bay Area, e-mail me so we can hoist a goblet o' grog and toast to your royal accomplishment!

An interesting side note, the agent I spoke to was a woman who loved Lego and also shared many AFOL's desire for more female mini-figs, so she was very excited about the set as well!

I was at work and couldn't place a phone order during the window. Fortunately, I'm supposed to have two of them coming from my sister in Germany.

Yeah, for supposedly being for AFOL's, the window wasn't at a very opportune time.

Maybe I'm missing something. There was a window? People were ordering them well into the evening and some people were also getting them the next day. I also never saw anything about a time window. Can someone give me the link?

Thanks,
Josh

Thanks Ben!

Just ordered mine today. The sales lady also tried to sell me a bucket of pink bricks and parts (slopes etc) as a S@H exclusive.

Anyways.....nice that we get to order this great set!

Now that this has been sorted out, the bigger question is whether I open my calenders or whether I wait until the holidays...

My vote is for waiting for the holidays. One of the things that interested me most about the castle advent calendar was that it presented me with the chance to enjoy an advent calendar again. I'm looking forward to reliving the simple joy of having a different little present to open every day of the month, and this time the presents will contain Lego instead of chocolate!

Like I said, however, that's only my vote.

Thank you for the reply. I have to apologize, as I wasn't very clear in my post. I was aware that there was no window, per se. I was concerned that there might be an ending time frame posted somewhere, since a couple people mentioned that they had missed "the window". I was wanting to find out if that was posted somewhere, so that I could get it changed.

Thank you,
Josh
