Too bad it's not a two-coloured sword...but I'm so happy that the set will be released that one sword isn't a big deal.

Incredible addition to the Lego Castle Mythos! Although it's dull in action, it's a MUST as a pivotal tool for the need for good knights! It provides a fantastic view of "utopia" before the trolls, orcs, evil one invade!

I'm still having a hard time believing this is really going to cost only USD 99.99. And if I can buy it at the local LEGO store to avoid shipping costs . . . I'd say this set is a steal.

Is there any news of any store that's taking pre-orders for this set? Finally, something for the Castle people to do other than fight. Of course, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Just got my Lego order, and there was a nice flyer inserted stating that Medieval Market Village will be available for sale on January 1st. We have confirmation.

Now back to studying for finals!

Was there any mention of price (still 99.99$ USD) or whether it will or won't be available at Lego stores?
