CCCVI - What goes around...

Post by Jalkow »

My crime & punishment entry:

What goes around...

Image

A gentle knight decides to take his lady-love for a little picnic. They spread out their blanket close to a waterwheel, because of the lovely noise. The knight is feeling romantic and he picks a cherry for his beloved. He doesn't know that the cherry tree is standing on the soil of the 'Fool on the Hill', a creepy old guy, owner of the waterwheel. When this creep sees the cherry picking, he jumps out of his chair and gets into action. That cherry thief has to be caught! He shall be punished! What goes around...

Three deeplinks: 1. 2. and 3.

The first picture shows the Crime, the second shows the Punishment and the third picture shows the MOC overall. It took some time to put it together, but I'm really satisfied with the result.
I hope you like it!

there are some excellent ideas and techniques here, i really like the exposed bricks. the bird on the roof looks like a hunchback, that's a vulture isn't it  i am not sure about the roof though, an interesting technique but at this scale it doesn't look very impressive.

That woodpecker is pretty good. I like the animals, mostly.
Woe is me, woe is me, I used to have a hamster tree. Then it got eaten by a newt and now I have no cuddly fruit.

Hey, nice to hear you recognized the vulture!
About the roof, you've got a point there. The result isn't as impressive as I hoped.
Together with the wheel and the vulture it gives a more cartoony look. I like that.
