Any news yet on a Dwarves Battle Pack set?

I apologize if this thread already exists. I'm new here and I did read back through a few pages to see if I could locate such a thread. Anyway, rumor has it that the skeletons may be disappearing soon from the LEGO Castle theme, which is fine by me. I just hope that LEGO gets a Dwarves Battle Pack out soon. Trolls are easy to come by. But I've bought 16 of the 2007/2008 Castle sets and I've only managed to acquire a mere 6 dwarves. I really don't want to spend a lot on buying duplicate sets, but my trolls outnumber my dwarves 3 to 1. How fair is that?

There are female dwarves. They have beards just like the male ones.

Hey Kingdavid, I feel your pain, I seriously do. I waited for months, since dwarve's mine came out for Lego to put out some battlepacks. I finally gave up and bought dwarve's mine (what lego wanted me to do obviously) as well as more dwarves on bricklink.

From the discussions I've brought up and heard about as well, there is a consensus on both sides that it may or may not happen. I talked about battle packs here and an admin said it's possible. I discussed it at eurobricks, and one other admin said it won't happen.

I solved this issue by going onto bricklink. I bought 30 dollars worth of dwarves (6 of them) and rearranged the beards and all so each figure is different looking. You can still do this, they are as expensive as 3.65 USD, the cheapest. Battlepacks normally go for 12.99 or 13.99 which means it's about half the price I paid, but I got more dwarves this way and finally stopped my anxiousness. Unless you're trying to amass them by the hoards, then I would wait for the battlepacks.

I would echo the Bricklink suggestion. You may have to shop around a bit but eventually you should find some at a decent price. Beats waiting for LEGO corp, that could be forever.

i have 18 dwarves with 7 cattulpults, 86 knights with 8 ballistas and 4 cattulpullts, around 50 trolls with 2 troll warships 3 battle wagons 1 battle wheel 2siege towers, and around 50 skeletons 1 chairiote and one prison carriage andmorethan half are cavalry, plus 20 of thewizards custom gaurds

I don't know if there are any plans for TLG to release a dwarfs battle pack or not but I can tell you that I will be offering them to CC members pretty soon. Once I reach seven distinct dwarfs, the rest will be extras to me and will become trade fodder.

I have about 100 mounted crown knights and 150 crown soldiers. But I won't mention it because it is irrelevant to the subject.

maybe the relevance is that his dwarves are also heavily outnumbered? 18 vs 86 vs 50 vs 50.

but if he look at it from the alliance angle, then it becomes (18+86) 104 vs 100 (50+50). quite well balanced tbh.

Making statements like this is rude and does nothing to contribute to the discussion. Kindly refrain in the future. Also your credibility is at a rather low ebb, seeing as how your sources were wrong about the Dwarves Mine.

Well, it's all good. I can live without a dwarf battle pack. I was just curious. As I've eaten, slept, and breathed LEGO Castle for the last few weeks, I see that it's highly unlikely that another dwarf set of any kind will be released any time soon. It's all good, though. Once I get my giant chess set, I'll have 15 dwarves. For now, the seven I have are decking out my dwarves' mine nicely. I just think the dwarves need some more machinery at this point. But I guess they make the weapons and armor and the knights use them to fight off the bad guys and that's just the way it has to be.
