CCCVI: The Futility of War

Post by Robin Hood »

This being my 1800th post, I figured I'd celebrate it with posting my final CCC entry, one for the siege category.

An army has been trying to break through the wall for over 50 years. They've been at it so long, with absolutely no change, that they have all forgotten why they started. It makes little difference anyway, for if they ever managed to get over, under, or through the great wall, they will find nought but a few old bones to greet them. Ah, the futility of war.

So, as I have said before, say what's on your mind. Tell me of yourself. Explain your feelings. What was your childhood like? Did you experience any psychologically damaging events?

That's pretty cool. The wall is a little empty (nice job on the vines growing up it). Though the wall does look realistic. This is a nice little siege scene.

That's fantastic!
I love the positioning of all of the skeletons; oh so creative.

Very cool, I like the idea. The minifig selection is great, I like how old and grizzled some of the soldiers look.

Unique idea and wonderful creation, but what is the castle called? What's the commander's name? In what region are these people fighting and why? These are questions that must not go unanswered. Therefore, I submit a formal request that you answer them, immedietly!

Thank you for your time and patience.

Ordinarily I would just tell you figure those answers out yourself, or that the mystery adds to the creation. But I feel creative tonight, so I will grant your request.

Dear Mr. Took,

Having reviewed your application to the Answer and Information Department, we have come to the conclusion that you are eligible for answers to all four of your questions. They will be supplied with this letter. If there are any problems or inconsistencies, please contact our office for assistance.

Also, the AID would like to remind you that all answers given here are strictly for your personal use, and any use outside of person entertainment will be considered a breach of our agreement. If such a breach happens, the AID will require you to return all answers given to you by the department, as well as a fine, to be determined by our penalty sub-department. If you fail to return all answer and pay the fine, we will pursue legal action and if necessary, forcibly take back the answers. Also, any breach of said agreement will forfeit any future requests to our department, and possibly, depending on the nature of the breach, our entire agency.

If for some reason the answers are taken from your possession, please inform the AID immediately. We will conduct a full investigation, and if you are found to be completely innocent of any wrong doing, we will supply you with replacement answers. Note: The AID will not replace answers if they are misplaced or accidentally destroyed. You may, however, re-apply for the answers, and if we find your application acceptable, you will be given new answers.

Thank you for your request.
Robin M. Hood, Chief Supervisor, Answer and Information Department, RH Agencies.

Answer and Information Department, Summary of Requested Answers, as requested by Hobbias Took.

Answer One: The Castle is called Redsmeer.

Answer Two: The Commander is named Sir Percival Augustus Meravmoor III.

Answer Three: These people are fighting in the country formerly known as Allrecon, in the land called Pedcevef.

Answer Four: They are fighting because their former King's fifth son was denied entrance to the Holy Temple of Deep Wisdom.

The AID hopes these answers help you, and to encourage you to contact our department again if you need further answers on any RH Agencies MOC. We wish to remind you of the contract you signed with your request, and to also warn you of the consequences of breaking the contract, as explained in the letter accompanying these answers. Again, we wish you a pleasant day, and thank you for contacting us.

Answer and Information Department, RH Agencies.

My eyes went all buggy reading that.

I thank you greatly for the answers. They allow me to better appreciate your creation.

My Answer and Information Department wouldn't accept that number of questions from a Junior Gong Farmer.

What cheek! He's getting above himself.

Well, in his defence, he wasn't a Junior Gong Farmer when he submitted the request to our department. Of course now, with his change, he will have to pursue other means of communication with our agency if he requires other services. RH Agencies prides itself on serving only the highest class of CC Citizen. We send any request by JGFs to other businesses.
