Here's one:

It really twists my bricks that the ATLA line didn't do well and was killed after only two sets had been released. It was the glorious marriage of two of my favorite things, and it was too good to last.

I do not even know what ATLA is?

The only thing that drives me crazy is when people abuse lego pieces.... you know the type. Like Sid in Toy story. Those kind of people :evil:

Lego releasing new sets that contaion lots of Poop and are overpriced (such as rock miners, and the new construction line)

You know what really grinds my gears?

* Forum members who make no effort to use correct spelling and proper grammar in their posts, and who do not take the time to read the posts of others to see what has been posted already;

* Forum trolls and n00bs who think they are authorities on the actions of The LEGO Group;

* n00bs who like to write 'novels' in their posts, in a vain attempt to prove to everyone that they are intelligent and deserve respect;

* Members who think that bumping their posts is cool;

* n00bs who spend all their time complaining and moaning about anything and everything instead of doing any actual LEGO building;

and finally,

* People who have absolutely no sense of humor!

Have I mentioned ebay?

I've purchased maybe 8 or 9 sets on ebay. Every Lego set I've won on there except one has been advertised with words like "100% complete", "mint", "I checked the inventory per peeron", etc. Every Lego set I've bought on there has been MISSING pieces. People are either extremely careless, or just flat out dishonest.

The latest one, the guy sent the set to the wrong address and it got lost in the post office for 2 weeks. Sent multiple emails asking what the status was, have received multiple emails in return, each one giving a different story (he told me he shipped it again two weeks ago, I still didn't get it, and today he says he just shipped it this week) and now he's acting like there's something wrong with me because I'm getting annoyed. This guy has +3000 feedback with no negatives. I hate to be his first one, but this is getting ridiculous.

Ok, I'm done ranting. I'm also done buying on ebay, I guess there's a reason things cost more on bricklink, but it's MUCH more trustworthy.

Eek. >flashback memory>

My friends and I would build Lego cars and have smashup derbies with them. We'd sit at opposite ends of the basement and roll our respective cars at each other as hard/fast as we could and see which car stayed together the best.

The testament to Lego quality is I think I only chipped the bottom edge of one 4x3 slope piece. Minor scuffs here an there. Otherwise, good as new!

Yeah, no kidding. I hate buying stuff on eBay. That's why I only buy things that are labelled "MISB" on there. If I get something and the seals aren't intact, I file a claim, even if everything's there and in new condition. After all, people shouldn't use acronyms if they don't understand what they mean.

Anyway, I originally bought these LEGOs for my son, who's still a toddler. But when he's old enough for them, he'll have a huge kingdom to inherit. I'm just having a hard time convincing her that I will step down and let him take over, though. I gotta admit, it will be difficult.

um - my kids only get my Lego when I die.

(of course my son recently offered to fix my brakes... I said "no thanks")

as far as the cost goes, I know lots of guys who are into way more expensive things like cars, mountain biking, their stereos, computers... you know? Lego can be relatively cheap.. bricklink, thrift stores, clearance sales, yard sales.. It's all the same to me. I don't always get the latest greatest set, but I manage.

My cat has developed another brick-twisting habit, arguably even worse than stealing minifigs. She likes to get up on the table while I'm building and lie down on the loose parts. Why does she do this? It can't be comfortable!

My cat does that too. It is very strange.

On of my cats likes to get up on the build table and watch. When she's satisfied that I'm going to accept her presence without making her get down, she picks a brick to swat on the floor and then does a kamikazee (sp?) dive for it.

I had a cat that liked to use my boxes of Lego as a cat box!!! Icky to say the least. I did figure out good ways to clean and sterilize mass amounts of Lego though...
So every cloud has it's silver lining I guess...
