Benjamin Whitworth

Name: Benjamin Whitworth
Age: 29
Height: 5’11”
When his father, William died, Benjamin inherited one of the largest shipping industries in Great Britain. No slow-minded fool, he quickly caught on to the game and after losses in his first year, the companies profits skyrocketed. Unfortunately, for him though, recent piracy attacks have targeted him, and the company has lost an estimated £1.4 million in the last three months. Now, with his company going under, and competitors - harsh from years of being beaten – seizing control, Benjamin is sailing to the new world, eager to find a new fortune. But old enemies of his fathers begin to rise, and Benjamin is about to discover that the family business contained more than met the eye.
Drake Ackart

Name: Drake Ackart (Born Francis Cousteau)
Age: 32
Height 5’9”
Seemingly just one of many sailors and crewmen on Benjamin Whitworth’s ship bound for Boston, Francis Cousteau is anything but. Born in Paris to a wealthy businessman, his fortunes soon changed when his father was murdered in a yet unresolved case. When his mother died two years later, finally succumbing to grief and the family attorney made off with the fortune, six year old Francis was left alone, hungry and desperate. After making a career in the chimney sweep business which started as a way to prevent starvation, he joined onto a ship’s crew, supposedly bound for the new world. The privateer ship, as it turned out to be, was captured by the British Royal Navy, the captain executed and the crew sold into slavery. Three months later, Francis escaped and joined onto the Glorious to Behold - a merchant ship bound for Port Royal in the Caribbean - under the name Drake Ackart. He’s jumped from ship to ship since then until he landed here.
Denny Barton

Name: Denny Barton
Age: 21
Height: 5’10”
Born the son of a cobbler in the backstreets of London, Denny Barton too took a strange route towards joining the crew of Benjamin Whitworth’s crew. At the age of 16 he murdered his abusive father (his mother was already dead), and fled to the sea. He stowed away on a ship belonging to William Whitworth and started a new life as a dockhand in the Portsmouth shipyard. Countless voyages in the past five years have brought him to many worlds and Barton is now fluent in both French and Spanish.
