Ah, ok, no problem. Just wondering. Thanks!Bruce N H wrote: We've never posted the raw data on the judging, just the winners and honorable mentions.

Tony, of course I'm entering next year. How can I win if I don't enter!

All advice welcome...
Whilst I enjoyed building stuff for the contest, it was my first time building anything "Castle". Any suggestions for improvement are much appreciated...

Well Sava, hope I am at the right thread here, as my question is not what I did wrong, but what did I do right. It concerns my custom fig (my first one ever): The Leon Crusader

I was wondering how come this figure made it to an honorable mention. I really would like to get into custom figs, but I have no idea how to do plastic parts for a fig. I mean, Armothes bishop blew my head off. It was fatastic. Do you have some really good links where I can learn more about custom (plastic) parts and clothes? Not decalls, for that Classic Castle .com has good articles already.
Thanks
Giorgio

Thank you for the constructive criticism. That should help me some in my future buildings.SavaTheAggie wrote:This is a really well done MOC. There are a lot of great details you've crammed in there. However, it looks rather lifeless and dull. Most of the figs are simply standing there, it doesn't look like much is going on. It also isn't obvious from looking at it why the Orcs are sneaking up towards the castle - remember, we only have a maximum of three pictures with which to work with. Having the captured Orc visibly shown through the jail bars would have done a lot to show that.Garbageman13 wrote:well, I may as well give it a shot:
Besides the obvious(Image quality and photography), what could I have done to improve opon this MOC?

I would like to ask about the biggest and (in my opinion best) lego creation, Rothgar Castle.

To be honest its a WIP and I intend to post updated pics later in the year. The main updates I'll be making will be landscaping and, in the distant future building a town around it. Wishing to see what your take on it is,
Jameson.
