Fantastic! :D

A really challenging architecture, especially the tower and the floating garden.

The little entrance labyrinth is also great.

Plus, I really like the minifigs, the guards and the queen!

Actually I have to embarass myself and say that I've never read Alice in Wonderland but this still has to be one of the most interesting castle creations I've seen lately. The colourscheme works wonderfully and the heart-imagery looks quite striking as well.

The labyrinth is really neat but I think the rest of the landscaping (the rocks) could need some work, it looks a bit too studded as of now (IMO). Good job on the hanging garden though, I'm quite impressed you managed to make it hang there...

And as Legoist said, the minifigs are really nice too. And while at that, where do those trans red shields come from? Are they some strange prototype pieces or old space stuff?

Anyhow, all in all, really nice work!

Very recognizable! I love this in every way possible :D
Indeed a bit more landscaping around this would be great, but this castle is already awesome and you know it!
One thing I would love to see, if you are going to add a bit of landscape around it, would be the trial bench :)
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

1980s space shields, can't remember the exact range

I've noticed that some builders are using predominantly slope pieces to landscape but I think it looks too smooth and 'playmobil'. I'm a bit of a purist though, hence lego=studs!

It took a while to sufficiently reinforce the inner side of the hanging garden tower, while still retaining the walkway underneath it across the battlements. I hollowed out the garden structure to make it lighter.

That's absolutely gorgeous! I especially loved that you used all the tree leaf pieces on the hedge maze instead of going with plain green bricks. It really gives it a foliage texture. And the use of the red horns for...rosebuds? chili peppers?...is very imaginative.

This is the sort of thing I want to design and build when I "grow up." :)

Also came before that in 1984 from 6928 Uranium Search Vehicle http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=6928-1

I had two of them at one point, but one broke.

On topic: The castle looks fantastic! I love the floating garden and the labyrinth as well. The overall architecture looks great, and I like the queen figure.

I really like the floating island and the diamond-shaped tower. The red/white color scheme throughout is really pretty awesome! Very nicely done, mate!

God bless.

This is great! I really like the heart-inspired design motifs. This is one of my favorite books as well! :)

Awesome castle! The floating garden looks excellent, and the entire structure is great.

This is creative, beautiful and inspiring. A truly excellent MOC. The joy you had in building it really comes through. I enjoy seeing an MOC where you can tell someone is not only a talented builder, but really loves :!: to build.

There're meant to be thorns of some sort but everything's open to interpretation.

Thanks for all the comments!

Reejoc -- this MOC is my absolute favorite that one that anyone has ever built. Period. I've always been a big Alice in Wonderland fan, and love the way you've incorporated the story into the MOC. Everything is ... simply put ... brilliant.

The simplicity of using a minimal number of colors serves to heighten the contrasts.

The hedge maze is my favorite. And I also really like how you create the hearts and the archways with the red behind them.
I like LEGO Stuff. I have a blog called BricksABillion, a webcomic called The Brick Side, and I do some freelance artwork at Duckingham. And I am sad that there are only 24 hours in a day.

Hello!

That’s awesome. That’s an innovative choice of... theme. Leading to an innovating scheme of colours. And the shape of the whole thing is beautiful, too.
