A quick question of bricks

Post by Ser Loktar »

I'm not sure where to put this so I'll try general lego. My question goes out to all those with a HP spiral staircase, What I want to know is how the Support 1 x 1 x 5 1/3 Spiral Staircase Axle connects to studs. The BL reference image is sadly lacking and I wanna know if it needs a technic pin or a technic axle?
Can anyone clear this little mystery up, Plz?
Ser Loktar

EDIT: NEW QUESTION

How in the heck do they build the base for this in the new Indiana Set 7624 Jungle Duel? Anybody, I could wing it but it seems a particular piece.
HELP,
Ser Loktar

When I was a lad my mother told me that if I stood around all day with my mouth open a weasel was liable to mistake it for his den and jump right in. If you have something to say, say it, otherwise, beware of weasels.

technic pin.. sorta - take one of these Image and put one of these on it Image, then put your stairs on it, then put one of these to cap it off Image...

Did that answer your question? not sure if it did.

That answered the question perfectly, I was worried I'd need to fit technic axles into floorboards
thx much LegoFreak

In retrospect I probably could've looked at peeron scans for relevent sets so thx for saving me some time

I've got another question and don't wanna make a new thread.

How in the heck do they build the base for this in the new Indiana Set 7624 Jungle Duel? Anybody, I could wing it but it seems a particular piece.

You can download the instructions for current sets from Lego.com - they're filed under customer service.

Here's what you're looking for:

Looks really nice next to this tent in a siege camp too:

Thx much Stahlregen,
I had no idea TLG was so cool as to let us download instructions for sets still being sold. I figured I'd have to wait till peeron had 'em.
And thanks to you as well Count Blacktron as I hadn't noticed this new indy tent was identical to the Johny Thunder one, which is on peeron.
Again I'm an idiot, and thx,
