My MOC the Admins entries

Post by Aliencat »

Hey hey,
I figured I'd post my entries for MOC the Admins all in one thread, here goes:

Tony's Food Storage

Now when I think of Tony, I always think of the food pictures he has in his Flickr photostream, so I figured I'd do something with that :D

Ben's New MOC

We all know Ben's passion for white LEGO castles. So here's my sigfig adding his own touch to one of Ben's sparkling white creations.

Bruce the Treasure Hunter

Bruce is always the guy who finds everything. He says he has a real life, but I think he just browses Brickshelf and Flickr all day ;) so I wanted to do something with a treasure hunt.

Josh's Battles Contest

Josh is of course well known for organizing the Battles Contest. So here's a battle for him :)

Where's Troy?

And the fifth admin is Troy, I haven't seen Troy around in a while so... blah who am I kidding, I don't have a black dragon, so Maedhros came up with this brilliant idea and sold, I mean gave it to me.

I'm sure your soul will come in handy some day ;)

They are great all of them but the first one has to be my favourite for the gorgeous walls - as boring as that may sound...

:roflol: Oh, I laughed loud at these, AC. Especially Sava's and Josh's. :) Well done, sir! Well done!

Impressions:

For the first, I have to agree with Maedhros. The walls are spectacular.

For the second, you have achieved an excellent color balance. The tan and grey offset the white so it's not swallowed into the background, and at the same time, they don't take away from the outrageously bright colors of the figs and the painted pieces. And the choice of face for Ben is perfect!

In the third, the bright colors on your sigfig are a little too overwhelming when everything else is in browns and tans and greens. But I'm not sure how you could have done differently. And Bruce's face is perfect.

In the fourth, you again managed to achieve a very fine color balance. The figs pop from the background, and are thus the main focus, but your background bears taking note of too for its construction. And the red and pink flowers are an excellent dash of color.

In the last, you said it all about as eloquently as anyone ever could.

Well done, mate!

Haha

My favorites are Bruce's and Troy's. Love 'em. Gotta love 'em. :eyebrows:
