Yeah! That building is beautiful, especially the wooden framework and the neat surrounding area. You've perfectly captured the simplistic beauty of medieval oriental architecture. It couldn't really get any more eastern could it

Awesome! There is a serenity about this scene that I really dig. The roof is great, and the framing is quite unique. Great work!

Great job! Its simply beautiful!! i really love the dark outer wall with the light grey bits, it really makes a great base for a great MOC!!! The small sanctuary bit in the corner is nice as well!!

That's it. I quit! I QUIT!
No seriously, this is a very, very beautiful creation. There is much to love about it. For one thing, the walls are perfect. I really like the inversion of the typical dk grey on light grey convention. The roof is spectacular, and the fig posing is wonderful. The tree and the fountain add a wonderful splash of color onto the scene as well. And I absolutely love the way you've done the building. A favorite of mine for sure!
Build on!

I really enjoyed looking through the pictures for this. The roof really stands out and looks amazing, the color scheme is perfect. I also really liked the mini-figs, not only the posing of them, but the customizing of their outfits as well. The fountain and wall are just icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing!

Well I can tell I'm not winning in this category.
I love the roof! I'd like to see just how exactly you did it.

Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated.
The white sections within the framing around the wall are just a jumper plate on top of two 2x1 plates. The "wall" is really a lot of individual half-stud offsets from the frame rather than the frame being an offset from the wall (if that makes any sense at all!).
The roof is held in place by 1x1 round plates hanging against the bottom edge of a 1-wide plate. The weight of the roof panels is enough to keep them sturdily in place.
