Pig Farm

Post by Black_Walnut »

This is a small MOC I made of a pig sty and the pig farmers house. The farmer and his daughter were tending the pigs, but are taking a break to chat with the prince. The prince stopped by to feed his favorite pig an apple.

I had just finished it prior to the May monthly challenge being announced, but it took me until now to take and edit the photos!

i like it. it is a very calm scene, with a nice timber-frame house

And so he slipped into the forest, vanishing without a trace, leaving his pursuers lost without ideas, while he went to finish his MOC's.

Here's where they are:

This was originally posted in May? I somehow missed commenting on it too. I like how you posed the hog reaching over the fence for it's treat. Too cute. I also like the house with it's short foundation. I'm a big fan of the yellow tudor houses in other people's photos but don't do it often myself because it somehow doesn't look right when I do it. This is nice and I'd certainly buy it, were it released as a set.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

That is a sweet little scene! I like the little snapshots into everyday life, and it all looks so... nice. Like I'd want to live there. :-) Great work!

I like the house. Now all it needs is a graveyard attached to it (down the road) and some zombies/skelzors waking up and stumbling down the roadway. Then the princes escort could pull their crossbows out and get them with holy bolts ; )

I like the simplicity of this one - but where do you get the pigs from?

I don't know about its availability in other countries, but there's also an impulse set in the US that's a cheap alternative for those, like me, who want to build up an army of pigs and dogs. http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.as ... cn=553&d=9

Nice MOC, by the way. I think making the road less straight would add to the realism though. I love the hut.

Very nice. I'm going to echo others, I like the more quiet and calm feel of this MOC. Keep up the good work!
