Collectable Minifigures (Sold Out?)

I checked the Lego Store July 6th and found the spot where the collectible minifigs to be completely replaced with Keychains. I talked to the store workers and they said that Series 2 would come in August or September.

Drat. Looks like Bricklink is my next option unless someone wants to sell a Robin Hood...?

I talked to one of the employees at my local TRU and she said that they thought they would be getting more from lego, but they don't know when.

The prices on bricklink weren't horrible last time I checked.

Indeed, this week I bought what I hope to be my last 16, still MISB. I've completed the collection already, so some of these are for the "drawer of history", some for friends, and some for opening. I think i'll be running the barcode system to decide which of them fall into the above roles.

Well, the Lego store in Canada, after it's third day of being open, was already sold out. Go figure.

I hope all these collectible figures get re-released in one giant collectors set that contains all of them. Or maybe I'm just wishful thinking.

That propably won't happen since collecting these limited series is the main purpose of them. Re-releasing them after a long time would destroy any 'rarity' value they have.

August is approaching and the hunt is almost up again
