I spent several years living in the shadow of Himeji Castle, so I had to have a micro version, even if the module doesn't confirm to the Micropolis standard:

There seems to be a clear opportunity to create a non-urban micro module standard -- sort of a merger between Base8 and Micropolis. This is my first stab at a castle-with-moat module, and I have a farm module that I haven't photographed yet. (EDIT: Just saw Bruce's post...)
Not much to look at in the thumbnail, and the torii gate has to be split in two to have the half-stud offset to get the right shape, but I'm quite pleased with my Shinto shrine:

It's the micro landscaping that puts a silly grin on my face: The teeny tiny pine trees -- especially the thin, tall ones you can't see many of in this picture -- and the little dots of color that I'm calling azaleas in bloom. I'd love to have more of the round-ish tree in the lower-right corner, but 1x1 plates in green are pretty rare. (Also, I think I should've taken this picture from a higher angle, since you can't really see the buildings well.)
Please let me know what you think. Constructive feedback is always welcome, since I'll be making improvements to display this at BrickCon.
