Favorite Top 3 Lego Castle Sets You Own

Knight's Castle is the only one I actually had as a kid and has long been a favorite. I picked up Camouflaged Outpost a couple of years ago off ebay and absolutely loved it. Lots of figs and the little fort was a lot of fun. MMV of course came last year and I think it doesn't rate as high because it's still a bit too new. I think in a few years it will be remembered as a true classic and one of the best Lego castle sets ever produced.

The Kings castle was my first large castle set I got for Christmas one year I think when I was 5 or 6. I got the Kings Mountain Fortress for Christmas years later. A few things that made this set unique at the time was it's raised base plate, lion barding and the new knights helmets with moving visors. The Black Knights castle was also another Christmas present that I remember being very impressed with when I was a kid with it's strong looking gatehouse and circular towers. I just got 6079 Dark Forest Fortress off of ebay and I am very impressed with it so it may ending up taking a place in the top 3 instead of one of these sets but I have only had it for a couple days so I can't come to that conclusion yet.

Wonderful set! A huge amount of my footsoldier parts came from this set! Alas, if only ALL of the Knights' Kingdom sets were this good.

#2 Tower Raid
Excellent set, great build, nice pieces= a huge amount of fun!

#3 Fireball Catapult
First castle set. 'Nuff said.

While I love King's Castle, Black Monarch's Castle, and Black Falcon's Fortress for their modularity (pics in my Flickr), I've decided I really love the look of the Black and Royal Knight's castles the best. I am still in awe of the MMV, it is just so cool on many levels.

I love this thread. I like the fact that this is favorite and not best sets. Sets like MMV and the Ultimate Chess Set even though the best designed sets don't make my favorite list. Do others feel this way too?

1) 6085 Black Monarchs Castle gotta love those brick built battlements on the towers.
2) 6054 Forestmen's Hideout the ultimate camoflaged treehouse.
3) 7036 Dwarve's Mine not only had the first Dwarves and Trolls but it is also important to note: it is a freaking mine!

Hmm... First place is Royal Knights Castle, then the Dwarf Mine and Market Village after that. But now i feel bad for the Black Falcon Fortress
