The Lynx

Postby Elephant Knight » Sun May 15, 2011 5:01 pm

A month back or so, I was challanged to build a minifig-scale tall-ship. And after a month that was very rough, I am finally finished.

Sitting at 122 studs long, and assuming 1 stud = 1 foot, then this ship is in pefect minifigscale, or as perfect as I could get.

Source material I used came mostly from here.

Stunning detail, the thumbnail makes it look like a picture from real life! Keep up the good work!

This is a wonderful MOC. I love all the rigging work you have done. :)

Awesome ship, EK. Exceptional!

My favorite bits are the rigging and the angle of the masts. That and the fact that it is minifig scale.

Well played,
Josh

Good work, EK. The rigging also stood out to me, especially. Looks a lot better than my first attempt at a ship.

*Edit* I just read the interview on TBB. For some reason I missed the other ship's you've built. Good lord, son.

Really nice work, those masts are awesome. I hope we will get to see this in person at the next meeting.

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

I am quite proud of the rigging. It took a little while to do it (And even longer to get around to it), but I am happy with the result.

Wlister: I guarante I will bring this to the next meeting.'

Josh: Thanks again for putting this on TBB!
