Jericho MOC
Jericho MOC
Hi guys, here is my latest MOC... The ancient city of Jericho. It takes place around 1500 b.c.. This is somewhat of the old testament version of the city, and will feature some more old testament additions in the next couple of days. So yea just a quick little preview of the city and its daily functions. Please post your comments and share your opinions!

Re: Jericho MOC
Great build! Those colour combinations on the walls look really great, and i love the angles of the walls. Many nice architectural details too!

Re: Jericho MOC
Love this, very well done! I agree, the color combinations are great. Just love the feel of it in general, few castles are built in this era.

Re: Jericho MOC
Good God I can't find anything wrong with this MOC (fleshies exempted
).The colloration is stunning and original, the shape is quite unique, the rocks transition seemlessly into the structures. It's not often that people go for the ancient stuff (though more since POP, atlantis, and the spartan came out) but the few examples I've seen have all been very good, and yours probably the best. Also, on a side note, you can definitely tell it's biblical because of the large number of soldiers and prostitutes in the city, which were pretty much the only people the Israelites interacted with during the siege. Wonderful MOC

Soo... if an army of minifigs marches around the city seven times and blows their trumpets, do the walls fall down?

Re: Jericho MOC
Thank you everyone for your great comments on Jericho. Really enjoyed putting it together and spent nearly 4 months to complete. In the next couple of days I will do a second part with the creation... I think everyone knows what to expect lol (if you have read the old testament)... thanks guys!
I greatly appreciate your words. I really enjoyed your last MOC. Actually I was just about finishing Jericho when I saw your Egyptian MOC of Tanis. Really inspiring.. Thanks!!
Yea I wish we could see more ancient MOCs... The POP really did help alot here...Elbadar wrote:Good God I can't find anything wrong with this MOC (fleshies exempted). The colloration is stunning and original, the shape is quite unique, the rocks transition seemlessly into the structures.
