Re: Cottage
I really like the design on the cape of the knight at the door. Very nice.

Re: Cottage
I like the colour scheme. Is the back open and 'playable' or closed?
Re: Cottage
Nice! I especially like the combination of dark tan and dark bluish gray for the stone walls.

Re: Cottage
I also like the color scheme, stone work below, hill landscaping and tree. The timbers are a bit too large for this small building. The half stud offset for timbers would look better if it was a 1/5th or 2/5ths stud offset.

Re: Cottage
Really nice cottage. This would look great along side the Medieval Marketplace buildings and the new Mill set in a village diorama.

Re: Cottage
The building is a little thin, but I had only a little space the put the original building shown here.lord_of_orks wrote:nice house, I like it it dose, however, look a little to thin.
Since there's only about 2x14 studs of room in the actual building it isn't very playable at all.
I've really wanted to experiment with different colors within brickwork and that was just a result of that.Aliencat wrote:Nice! I especially like the combination of dark tan and dark bluish gray for the stone walls.
You haven't seen anything yet. If you can think back to last summer when I had the Castle WiP on Flickr. That is hopefully going to be resurrected for BrickFair. (August)Karrde wrote:This is very much your style, Zach. Bright and cute and lovely - Good to see you building castle again.
