Official Batcave picture

Postby Bruce N H » Thu Oct 13, 2011 6:13 pm

Hey all,

As I noted on ComicBricks, the Batcave set is being unveiled today at Comic Con New York and in the press. See an article here.

BTW, they are also giving away Superman figs at CCNY, and I've got high res pics of him on my blog as well.

Edit Now in high res

Holy Crappy Set, Batman!

Looks way too bright and colorful. This whole line seems like a cheap knock-off of the original sets.

I'd wait to get the figures on Bricklink in a few months when the prices come down. I'd rather get more Kingdoms sets than buy this. It doesn't look inexpensive.

Given the current cost of Batman figures on BL, you might be waiting a loooong time for those to come down...

I thought I'd just take a peek at a couple of the old batman sets...

when I saw how much these were going on BL, I was amazed. I know Starwars lego is fetching a good buck, and so are select (9v) trains.
I didn't think that Batman stuff is going that high.... ouch.

I'm not to terribly interested in the new bat cave set, or even the other superheroes coming out next year, but I'll have to make a final
decision when they come out next year.
