Questions about sculpy

Post by lil Jon »

Hey Friends!
I just picked up some sculpy at the craft store! I was wondering what others have used to work with it (such as tools, techneques, etc...)

I've worked with other clay, but never anything too small. Does sculpy shink any when it is baked like other clay?

NEW QUESTION!
Ok, I've made something that looks descent IMO, Now, what kind of paint would one use?

I use Super Sculpey, and haven't had any problems with it. It may shrink a bit, so if you are doing anything that fits tight, you may want to make it a bit bigger, just it case.

Go to the article section on C-C and look up an article written by me on making custom accessories out of sculpey. There is also a more up-to-date version of the same article on the faq section of my website, which I've put up last night and contains some extra information that you might find useful. Btw, Kev if you're reading this, please go there to obtain the new stuffs so you can update the article on C-C as well. Many thanks!
