The only lego I got from my wife was 3 collectible minifigs in my stocking.

If there is any consolation, I did buy over $200 in orders from Shop@Home, plus bought a couple other things from the Lego Store (Holiday Post Office
and the Starwars Advent Calendar) before Christmas.

Didn't get much this year. 5 sets total, all of which are either small or medium sized.

6246 Crocodile cage (From sibling who knows how to use Bricklink)
6822 Space digger (From that same sibling using Bricklink)
3839 Race 3000 (Also from said sibling, but not from Bricklink)
4641 Speed Boat
5766 Log Cabin

Not bad, but not great.

My kids were very excited to give me Hogwarts Castle. They didn't even bug me to help build it but were sure happy when I finished it and they could play with it.
I hope everyone was filled with good feelings (like I was) and didn't forget to be ungreatful for what (if anything) they did receive. Merry Christmas everyone!

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

After coming dangerously close to getting nothing last year, I did rather well this year, with:

7049 Alien Striker in my stocking, a welcome spare copy of a cool theme I have far too little of.

8058 Guardian of the Deep, a presumably discounted Atlantis set that, while a bit lacklustre, has a number of handy parts for the Space-ier end of my collection.

4441 Police Dog Van, from the new City line--no bear, alas, but I am liking the vehicular designs for these sets, and the "State Trooper/Sheriff" fig is a nice, fresh, face to have on my law enforcement team.

The piece-de-resistance, however, was 6598 Metro PD Station, a Bricklinked copy of the 1996 police station. My brother did *very* well, as this was one of my long-desired sets as a kid: one of those sets stared at in magazines for hours, and never purchased--and it doesn't disappoint either.

No Castle sets, alas, but I still have a couple presents when I go home from my family to my fiancée and her family, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I received the XXL tub that was on sale at Walmart Black Friday, the Pirate code game, an eskimo minifig, and the wreath impulse set. Am now building a white castle with pieces from the tub :)

I made an excellent haul:

Ninjago Dragon Fortress from my mother.
London Escape from my sister.
The latest creator house from my wife.
And Scorpion Pyramid at 50% from myself.

Plus, I got an ice cream maker and a flip video camera.

Well, it's never good to be jealous, but I'll share in the spirit of sharing how lucky I was this year instead.

I am blessed to have two really generous families in my life, both mine and my in-laws. It's also lucky that my father-in-law is a bit of a "big kid" himself, so they are used to buying toys and fun stuff for guys.

This year I got:

About 10 copies of the Target "value pack" crossbowman (polybag)
2 "old brown" horses from bricklink
An ice cube tray that makes minifig-shaped ice cubes.... or jello shots? lol
My second copy of "Blacksmith Attack"
My second copy of "Escape from Dragon's Prison"
2 Target Lego-themed gift cards (the ones that come with Legos in a little case) for $50 each!
A copy of The "Brick Bible" which looks like it's going to be a great read.
Aaaaaand......drumroll please.... my second copy of the Medieval Market Village! Woohoo!

Actually, the nicest of all of these were the 2 horses, as my wife went on bricklink for the first time, made her own account, and ordered them for me to replace the two that our dog chewed up a few weeks ago. I thought it was very thoughtful of her :D

Anyway, I hope everyone else enjoyed their holiday as much as I did. Here's to a very happy and blessed New Year to you all!

As always, Keep up the good work!

I bought myself a Mill Village Raid. It's a really nice set, full of awesome figs and animals, but the buildings are a bit small.

From others I got a few bagged minifigs (wave 5, fact fans) and the Police Dog Unit.
