The Dark Knight Goes Medieval

Post by DARKspawn »

Hi all!

This is my latest build, a fairly simple medieval house to help refamiliarise myself with the brick and to try out some new elements.

Oh, and I'm Batman!

Cheers all :)

Aaron posts a creation on CC? Sigh... The world is as is should be. :) You are probably a little unsure about me right now. I've done nothing but slobber over your arrival back after all. The main reason, is because I began my ascent in the LEGO ranks after you had gone somewhat inactive. Your castle creations remain some of my heaviest inspirations for my works. Having a builder of your influence on my building career coming back to the community is a dream come true!

Cheers!

This is just a really lovely and complete MOC! It is always wonderful to look at pictures of a creation that has a sense of itself, and draws you in...

Thanks for sharing and God Bless,

I have been looking your creations since a long time (particularly loved the Crown-manor), it's good to see some new build. Apparently you have no problem to refamiliarise with bricks. I really like your half-timbering technique. Irregular landscape and the tree are also interesting (and inspiring :D ).

I love all the texture changes! The way you did the walls is inspiring. The change on the roof is great as well.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and comments, it is really good to be back in the kingdom of Classic Castle, and so many of my old compatriots are now noblemen! Great to see so many new faces too. I don't have the time I used to have so my builds will not be as think and fast as they once were but expect alot more castle from me in the coming weeks.

This is the first time I have tried to use this camera for shooting MOCs so the depth of field was a little off. I have since consulted the manual and retaken a few shots and the focus is much better, I'll upload them soon.
