LCC-Lenfald, Strongborough Army.

Post by Elderon »

Well since I didn't want to sort my lego's out and still wanted to do something with them I decided I'd form my army, with the figs I have available. Well here it is:

On the right in front of the horsemen is our High Lord Godfrey Wenseclaus II together with his wife Gwynne of Ainesford. Beside him stands lord Vyctarion of Strongborough and behind the High Lord stand Vyctarions brothers: Vysarion and Vynkan, both trained knights. Beside the brothers stand Owain Breakspear, master-at-arms and Gerrold WhiteRaven, Captain of the Strongborian Guard.

Since the events took place at Óir Starrfhiacail Velaryon is no longer heir of Strongborough and therefore holds no place in the army. He is seen here with the allies of Strongborough and Lenfald. Behind Velaryon and his friend stands the highland clan Faolstarff, whose warcries have made many a enemy fled the battlefield. Next to Velaryon, on the right, stand the Brotherhood of the Stag. As trained trackers and huntsmen, even the smallest animal will not stand a chance against them. Behind the Brotherhood stands a company of Elves, consisting of Elven guards, Elven Warriors and Elven Archers. Not much is known about the Elves except that they live longer than any race on Rowia, although a secluded life in the Wandering Woods and seldomly share their knowledge with mankind, they are known for their craftmanship with wood and steel, although it is speculated that they often use magic to help them craft the best of shields, spears and swords.

Well, that's my army and since I saw what Aliencat unleashed upon Roawia I knew I had to build the strongest army I could. I think I succeeded :)

Oh btw more pictures can be found on my Flickr

Really cool army. A lot of troop variation is always a good thing :) The use of mini-minifigs on your banners is also a touch of genius.

68 of them, ah-ha-haa.

These remind me a lot of how I organize my own armies :)

Your "Allies of Strongborough" almost look like they could be Garhims, with a quick wardrobe change ;)
They must live in the harsher, more mountainous parts of Lenfald, eh?

I'm very jealous of your elf contingent, btw. Those stag shields are some of my favorite. I wasn't aware enough at the time those figs were available to go scoop several up, so I just have one. (He'll be making an appearance in an upcoming MOC)
