Outlaw Camp in the Ruins of Fangom Fortress

Post by jedirimlighter »

This particular build was another experiment for me this summer. I wanted to play around with some landscaping techniques as well making a building that is in ruins. I began this MOC in the spring and shelved it for a while before returning to it recently. If any of you are familiar with Skyrim, you will probably notice that I tried to incorporate some of the worn and weathered architecture seen in the game into this MOC, especially some of the ragged fortifications surrounding the town of Whiterun. This build is one of the few MOCs that I've created for my collection of Willowstone inspired models that actually lies outside of the Kingdom of Willowstone. Fangom is a marshy territory far to the south, and Fangom Fortress was at one time the home of Drakbane the Tyrant. Now it is home to a few Wolf Pack bandits.

Enjoy!

The willow tree is great! Excellent work on the fortress too, the diagonal supports in the tower are a nice detail :D

It's funny that you say that soccerkid, I was just looking at your Lenfald watch tower over at flickr and I was amazed by how similar it looked to the design that I used for this gaurd post. It sure does make for a sturdy yet low budget mode of defense. :)
