Lenfald LC4 - Phase 1 results!

Yes ladies and gents, we had a succesful first phase of the contest! We had lots of great entries, saw some innovative techniques and great scores across the board. Mark and I had a hard time judging all of the entries! Thanks for making this a great LC so far!

And now, on to the important part:

The Winners!

The winner of this contest, and the winner of a whopping 12 personal points is...

Mitah's Battle of Elavia!

We also have a runner up position, for 8 personal points...

Albatross_Viking's Restoring Order!

A honorable mention, for having a fraction less of a score than the runnner up, goes to:

Elderon's Civil War part I and II!

Thanks everyone, good luck in phase 2!

And as always,

For great Lenfald, and Leg Godt!

EDIT:

The scores will be updated once phase 2 has been completed.

LCC - Lenfald - LC4 - The Keeper

Known to everyone in Lenfald only as "The Keeper", he was a high official under the late High Lord Wenseclaus II and a scholar of the laws and customs of the Provinces.

He is highly knowledgable of the law and acts as a judge and mediator in disputes throughout Lenfald.

His lastest duty was to decide an argument between a peasant blacksmith and and a local Lord who didn't want to pay full price for his new armor and weapons.

The Keeper is Lord Val Karem's candidate for the post of High Lord of Lenfald.

Entry for the Industrious land of Lenfald Contest!

Postby Sir Ronald » Fri Oct 12, 2012 11:28 pm

Entry For The Lenfald Introduction Challenge.

The Industrious Land of Lenfald.
Story:
On a lovely sunny day in the forests of Lenfald, Sir Ronald was out on a hunt. It was mid-afternoon and so far he had been unsuccessful. It was time to get back to the farm. He headed for the river as that would guide him home. While walking along the river for a while Sir Ronald suddenly heard something. Quickly he darted behind a tree. Peering around the edge he saw what he had been looking for; a large deer stood before him. Stealthily, he grabbed his bow, fitted an arrow, and drew it back. All he needed now was for it to hit the mark.
(This was my first time using SNOT water and my first brick-built beast. Constructive criticism is much appreciated!)

My Entry for Part 2 of the Lenfald Local Contest.

Postby Sir Ronald » Tue Oct 16, 2012 12:38 am

My Entry for part 2 of the Lenfald Local Contest:

“The Problem!
Now only rests the issue of succession, and by Lenfald tradition, it will be decided by Noble's Voice - a vote! Any noble can issue a candidate, and then we all together must decide who will be the next High Lord of Lenfald!

The Challenge!
Create a scene showing your candidate for High Lordship doing something good for the people of Lenfald, like handing out food, overseeing repairs, etc. etc. Be creative!”

Entry:
A Feast in the Forest!

Pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/87808101@N ... 779700753/

Backstory:
Sir Arnold is a wealthy knight who dwells in Stonewald, the capital of Lenfald. He is a man who wishes for Lenfald to rise in power and fame among the three provinces. Upon hearing of the death of the High Lord, Godfrey Ariand Wenseclaus II, He was saddened but, was one of the first in Lenfald to ride out with his armies and fight against the usurper Stephan. Now that Stephan has been defeated and his armies in ruin, Sir Arnold is celebrating by hosting a feast for the some peasants who live in the forest. He understands that there must be a new leader for Lenfald and he is aspiring to be that leader. He is a brave warrior and is willing to do whatever it takes to serve his province and its people.
For the Greatness of Lenfald!!

Still working on my building an photographing skills!
I'm really enjoying classic castle and especially the LCC!
Hopefully we'll get some more entries before the deadline.
See you around,

No this is NOT a local challenge, I am just throwing this out there because I think that it would be a good base for some great freebuilds! :D See the outlaw faction thread for details of their cowardly plan.

I am in the process of making mine.

Lenfald LC4 - Voting Thread!

Sorry for the wait, guys. Life's busy right now!

Hear ye, hear ye!
The appointed time has passed, and now it is time for all nobles of the land to speak out their voice in the name of a candidate. The Noble's Voice will decide who will become the next High Lord of Lenfald! Every man gets one vote, whether he is a rich castlemaster, or a poor roaming knight living under a bridge. Let the Noble's Voice commence!

The Contestants!

- Mitah's "The Keeper"
- Petturik's "Sir Trip"
- Sir Ronald's "A Feast in the Forest!"
- Soccerkid6's "Sir Ronald" (More pictures on page 25 of the Lenfald Thread)
- Friskywhiskers' "To Kill A Boar"

How to vote!

It's really quite simple! Follow these steps and you'll have your vote out in no time!

1. Take your time to look at all the entries, and pick your favorite.
2. Send me (teherean) a PM stating: "I, [yournamehere], would like to vote for [contestantnamehere].
3. I will reply to your PM, accepting or denying your vote.

THERE ARE A FEW RULES!

1. You are not allowed to vote for your own entry.
2. You are not allowed to vote more than once.
3. Members outside Lenfald are not allowed to vote. Members with less than 5 posts on Classic Castle are not allowed to vote.
4. You must have completed your CIC in order to vote.

Be advised: Fraud will be dealt with severely. Both the contestant and the voter will be punished.

Further Information!

- send any and all questions to me (teherean) by pm.
- This is the final stage of the Lenfald LC4. As soon as the voting results are in, the LC4 will be concluded officially.
- This phase of the contest was made in cooperation with Lenfald member Fireglade. Credit for the concept of LC4 phase 2 goes to him.

Contestants, good luck! Everyone, vote vote vote!

For Great Lenfald! And as always, Leg Godt!
