From what I saw, your CIC meets the requirements. I think you can at least start your GCV entry, because it shouldn't be too long before you're excepted.DrakkVonLego wrote:Hey guys, I just made my character on the sign up thread (outlaws of course! ), I was hoping to post a MOC for the GCV. Aeridian has stated correctly.
Also, a friendly reminder (welcome to the CC, by the way!) is that you will find yourself in group B since you did not actively participate in the banquet. All of this information can be found in the 2nd post of this thread
Looking forward to your entry!

Flickr was down for maintenance. I saw the warnings these past few days. Unfortunately I won't be able to finish my build in time (by far), so I'll bail myself out in a freebuild. No way I intent to stay any longer behind bars than strictly necessary.

The "no magic clause" made me realise that fake magic was still allowed
The story and other pictures are in the first comment.
Best of luck, everybody!

Re: LCC - GC V - "The Coronation"
Here is my entry for GC V:
Group B: "Seizing Power"
"After I recieved the terrible news about the betrayal of the false queen I rushed at lightning speed to the next bigger Garhim colony to inform the people living there about this vile intrigue. The crowd was terribly angry about the fact that this witch has put our beloved and God-given leader Jhirian Eindrick in chains and threw him in the darkest dungeon of her evil storghold. This woman who the most of us have viewed as a peace bringer, who could finally unite Roawia, is now the biggest enemy of all civilized and peaceable provinces of the empire.
That is why I Ser Junus as well as many other loyal nobles of of the province of Garheim decided to evacuate the citizens of Garheim from their settlements. Our aim is a remoted fortification in the Great Driftplains in the north-west of Garheim, there the peace-loving citizens should be safe from the clutches of queen Galainir, at least for a while.
Still early in the dawn, the first group started to leave their housing, in the luggage they had only the bare essentials. They tried to load their ox carts as sufficient as possible, including tools, music instruments and food – especially dried and nutritious fish. For the encouragement of the angered Garhim a musician played an ancient song song, full of sorrow, originating from the time of our ancestors, on a traditional bagpipe.
I was standing by myself, remoted on a ledge above the road to the city gate and monitored the hustle and bustle fo the fleeing sons and daughters of Garheim. Standing by myself, I was in a terrible rage. But I new only too well that a direct march with my men to the the queens stronghold would be a pure suicide mission. So I headed far north with my fellow brothers and sisters..."

Ill start off by saying this is my first entry, I hope that I manage to follow the rules of the submission. If not let me know and ill remove it! Im not a very good MOC builder, so it might be a little light on actual building. I hope the story is entertaining at least. Hope you guys like it
Drakk had gotten word of the events at the Queen’s banquet, even from the isolation of the magical isles. She had imprisoned all those present, and had sent countless soldiers all over the the mainland to occupy towns and seize strongholds. Despite her as of yet uncontested position, Drakk still believed she was stretching her forces too thin. Of course he could care less how the mainlanders killed one another, but he felt an affinity to this Queen. After all, the famous idiom states “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
Drakk gathered his followers for an announcement. “I shall go join this queen as means to an end. She will help me in getting my revenge on those who have wrong us, and I will help her by lending her my talents...for a time.” After a brief discussion of logistics with his lieutenants, he set off for the mainland.
It was at the outskirts of East Stowburn where he encountered his first patrol of the Queen’s soldiers. Drakk’s companions were off foraging for supplies while he relaxed at the campsite. The patrol seemed to be carrying supplies to the army as well as loot from their raids on the surrounding towns.
“Traveller! Hand over tribute for the Queen and make way, we are in a hurry,” said the heavily armed knight on horseback.
Drakk raised an eyebrow as he gazed upon their sigil, the dreaded red dragon. He decided he might like this Queen after all. “While I admire your seal, your manners can use some adjustment. I have not traveled this far to give tribute to the Queen, I have come to join her. For a modest fee of course.”
The knight scoffed as he replied, “What use does the queen have for a lone outlaw, who seems to not know his place?” Chuckles spread amongst the soldiers behind him.
Ignoring the jab, Drakk responded. “I am a sorcerer from the magical isles, surely she has need of those who possess magic.” As he spoke, Drakk raised his right arm. His hand seemed to disappear from sight as a shimmering breach in reality appeared. As he withdrew his hand, it grasped an ornate golden sword, decorated with arcane runes and visage of a dragon. In his left hand, a small flame burst into existence and danced at his fingertips.
The knight was obviously impressed, despite his visage being masked behind his dark helm. The soldiers behind him began muttering in hushed tones to one another. Despite this, the knight responded to the display with an air of boredom. “We have many who can use magic with us. We even have the famous wizard Maldrake! The Queen doesn’t need some conjurer of cheap tricks.
“CHEAP TRICKS?!” Drakk had had enough of this impertinent fool. Gathering his magical reserves, he used his most powerful ability. With a roar that began with the powerful baritone of his voice, and ended with deafening bellow, he transformed. His arms and legs extended into great claws, wings burst from his back, and he grew in size, all in the span of a few moments. A few more seconds and his transformation was complete. A mighty red dragon now stood in front of the night and looked down at the now trembling knight. “Ill take my advance pay now,” Drakk said through the grin of his knife sized teeth. After letting the knight tremble for a few seconds, he returned to his human form much less dramatically.
“Y-y-you’re hired...” squawked the Knight. With a wave of his hand several soldiers shoved a chest of pillaged goods in front of the sorcerer. “You can come with us,” the knight managed to say in a weak voice. And more to himself, “The higher-ups need to see this.”
Drakk smiled as he eyed the gold hungrily (dragons do love their gold). “I think I'll enjoy my stay on the mainland.”
