Hi all. I don't know if you would count this as a MOC as I only changed fleshies to yellow.
Ever wondered what the Elves from lord of the Ring would look like in Yellow?
Fleshies didn't look right in my castle scenes. So i converted them to yellow. all of them lol
Now they can easily fit in with the Kingdoms sets or MMV. They still look out of place when standing in the Falcons castles but that is mainly due to the amount of details and new colours used now.
I still have to find a few replacement heads for the hobbits.. and then they will be yellowed too.
anyway here they are.

Hey, that looks pretty good.
What did you use on the ears and areas on the torsos where skin shows?

Gotta love that one Elf who's grinning when the rest are all serious.
Very cool! I'm a big yelly fan.

Awesome work! What heads did you use? I like that so many have the same facial structure/markings as the fleshie elves.

Very nice conversion! In my experience it can be hard to combine these themes but it's been pulled off great here.

If you were stateside I'd be offering to trade yellow heads and hands for your fleshies

Nice job. I am not fond of fleshie heads either, and this conversion looks great.

Thanks for the comments
For the yellow on the ears and the yellow on the torsos I used a cheap brand of yellow permanent marker. I used the cheap brand because I found I can remove the yellow without damaging the paint, if I ever decided I wanted them as fleshies.
The hardest part was finding different heads that had the cheekbones. Luckily there is alot of figures in the collectible minifigure range that suited the expressions. I couldn't find any female faces that had printed cheeks bones apart from the angry amazon warrior figure.
Most of the heads came from the figures of the roman soldier, revolutionary soldier, Caesar, eskimo, cop, jungle boy, baseball catcher and the white knight. And from a few city figures.
