CCC XI: Misc- Ye Slightly Newer Forge

[ZCerberus]

The first castle MOC I ever "loved" was DC's epic "Ye Old Forge" enter right here in the CCC.

I was tasked to take a MOC from a legend and "Z"ify it to fit my style. The result is this slightly newer old forge.





And a comparison to the original.



There are a bunch of other shots in the Flickr set including some details and the other sides of the MOC which we never saw from DCs original!

Lovely work on the Remix Z! Your forge it still recognizable to the old one while still having your style in it. Some things that stand out to me is the abundance of red flowers, they really brighten up the MOC. The details on the windows are fantastic, and the brown crossbeams on the Tudor part are lovely. Also the use of the masonry and grill bricks in the chimney works surprisingly well.
