Dear Lego: Reverse Quivers

Post by mpoh98 »

Dear Lego, I would love for you to make quivers that go over the left shoulder as well as the right. That would be EXTREMELY useful, as not all people are right-handed, and also in decoration! :D

Yes, this would be nice, though I wouldn't say that it's absolutely necessary ;)

While great for variety, I feel like having reverse quivers would bother me just as much as flags that fold in opposite of other flags (poor description, but by comparing a new flag vs. an old flag's folds, the difference is clear). In addition, it doesn't seem like there would be any more incentive beyond just that, for variety's sake.

This would be nice, because as you said not everyone is right handed, and it would provide more variety.

This guy needs a lefty quiver!

BTW, I really like having both of the flag variations. IMO it makes it look a little more realistic when you have several flags - they shouldn't all be flapping identically in the wind.

Yes! Reverse quivers would be great for minifigs. It would surely be something I hope The LEGO group does in the future!

And Bruce, the miss-print black falcon is the first thing that came to my mind! :) A reverse quiver would be perfect for him.

I am actually working on a custom reverse quiver (with shoulder strap). I'll post a picture here when it's complete! :)

Yes, definitely. I do archery, and I find it easier to draw arrows from a quiver at the hip.

Awesome, I can't wait to see it when it is finished! :D

That would be very cool, I like those as well (when I do archery), but I like the shoulder ones better. :) Still, that would be pretty sweet!
